Agree those are smart looking buildings Marmite & would enhance the view down most of Udon's Sois. I particularly like the way it gives a covered pavement for the wet & hot season. Although I guess in Udon that would soon be full of goods for sale forcing people out into the traffic. Where abouts was it taken???

No flat roofs ,instead red tiles, and the five foot walkway that links a whole row, and shelters people from the sun and rain. Thousands of these charming buildings were torn down in Singapore, until there was a public outcry and some were saved.
