Your not stupid your in a learning curve just like most of us have done. Just realize what you have learened and don't make the same mistakes again. Trust me there will be others before it's over. It's more difficult when your not here to see what is really going on.

Yes,she claims she really wants to go now.Didn't have the cash at the start of the year, out of work.We have been married now for 2 yrs and 8 months. In the beggining I thought I would just have her stay in Thailand and come for five or six months. With her budget expectations that is impossible. So she must come here. And her mother didn't originally want her to leave as she had heard about some stories with girls who went to farangland. She has to come,if she wants to stay married to me.Im not worried as even the worse case scenario a judge here wouldn't make me pay anymore in a divorce and I have zero assets in Canada.

Just out of curiosity does she know how to fill out the forms they are complicated. Thai's seldom say they don't know. remember no matter what english is a second language and always be. Look you don't send her a dime she will make it here she did before you came along and she still can.

She knows there complicated and beyond her reading ability.I filled them out for her before but burned when she said she could have completed them but wasn't sure of me,100%.She wants to go to the Embassy in person and pick them up and visit a family member who was a teacher in Bangkok. She doesn't want to take the bus or stay at relatives. She wants 10,000baht for the trip.Maybe stay 2 or 3 days.I couried her the paperwork almost completed the first time.We know a lady who is competent enough in Udon to finish them.

Well, good weather over here, better than I expected. Went swimming yesterday at the Nakaburi ressort. Food was disappointing, seems they have a new cook in their kitchen.

And no need to stay on topic in this thread, obviously...

Doug

spend the money on an agent in Udon to do the visa application, and dont accept any excuses, use the words, " they are professional " / " expert "

I willing to bet ur 10000 spent on the trip to BKK will mean , no visa, have problem, and need to go again next month to fix it again.

Actually I was skeptical that anyone in Udon will really do it,but send it to Bangkok anyway or just take your money.I should just fill one out again.I just didn't have some of her family history and a couple of other things. She will still need to have a medical and a police clearence report done. This one lady who did my translations when I got married in Udon,I would give her my business, but there is some friction between her and my wife. She wanted to just get a tourist visa at first and I told her,no I think your case it won't take 16 months to get over here and I don't want to pay for two flights, plus my own in one year.Shes adamant about doing this as well.

Doug

There are so many excuses here, its just not worth anybody commenting anymore, IMO.

U need to get over here, sort the visa out and fly back with her.

Right now the only airline you are going to get a ticket on and from looking at this posts history is an upgrade seat on Buffalo Airlines.
