Good bit of banter Lads, I'll be going for the Saints but wont venture a margin. Will be far too close to call. Yes Jack the Pussy's were well and truly given a lesson in footy in the 90's by a far superiour team :D Kev, we think along similar lines :D

Just another realist in the big picture of AFL Grand Final predictions.

Wazza, after extensive research into the matter I am also going to have to go along with Jack but not by such a high margin. The Cats by 10 is this Pom's prediction. Hey if I get it wrong I have an excuse, whats yours?

Come on the Pies!!! ........next season that is

Roy ROy ROY !!

There is time to repent all, as the Salvos say

U have a large number of great teams with huge supporter base all around the country to choose from.

Why why why the Colliwobbles, there is help you know, there are support services, there are former maggies who saw the light and jumped ship.

Community groups can rally with your plight and make it easier !

You dont want to be known and a one eyed winging Pom who supports Collingwood do you.

Last time I saw on the Oz Immigration card it asks if you have any criminal convictions, you will need to acknowledge this, if you support those black and white crunts.

Not a great believer in the ol ship jumping Wazza, pick a team and stick with em through thick & thin is what I say. Hell my English footie team is Colchester Utd  and my Rugby Union side is Harlequins. What with their recent antics that should be enough for anyone to throw themselves overboard but no I shall remain faithful.

Roy,
I have been a forum member for about 3 or 4 years now and during that time have read many of you posts on a variety of different threads discussing a wide range of subjects. I have long been of the opinion you are a well grounded, intelligent, ariticulate and balanced person. Unfortunately my opinion of you has changed full circle after reading this thread and discovering your support of the Collingwood Football Club. Never again will i be sucked in by making incorrect judgements of peoples character, because there is allways something lurking deep down in their personalities that one day will rear its ugly head.

For your own sake and sanity, and as has been mentioned earlier, jump ship before you are completely engulfed in the darkness with no chance of redemtion and restore my faith in my earlier opinion of you as a human being.

Good luck dealing with your demons. You are going to need it.

With respect
Archie...

Roy

Delusional episodes do occur when people take on new ideas, thoughts, mid life crisis and trying to identify with a new sporting cultures.

NOw then, hypothetically of course.

I will be relocating to lovely UK in the next few months, obviously i will need to adapt to some new sporting cultures, i read about this team called Scunthorpe, not too bad, been recomended to me, but still i think those guys from Old Trafford look good in red. What do u think. The guys in red despite the recomendations of many others . I dont want to look a pratt walking into a bar in Scunthorpe wearing a red top would I ??

I assure you there wont be any negative comments, should you retract your loyalty now, after all u do get a 30 day cooling off period with any decisions involving those Prlicks

wazza,
You have suffered enough sporting disappointment in the last few weeks.
Please, please, put your hard spent AUS$ on the Cats to win by 15 points upwards.
We dont want to hear that you are the first falang jumper in Kazakhstan ! :(
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Saturday at the Aussie Bar. Geelong Cats V's St Kilda Saints. With Gary Ablett looking to take out the rare double of winning the Brownlow and the Norm Smith Medals.the 2009 Grand Final between the the 2 hottest teams in the AFL is going to be one game you will want to see. These teams have only lost 6 games between them over the whole season 2 to the saints and 4 to the Cats you wont want to miss this. The money is on the Cats but the top form Saints skipper Nick Riewoldt wont make it easy. This will be one of the harest fought grand finals for a long time. Bar opens at 10am and kick off at 11.30. Tipping fun and a glass of Leo with every burger or meat pie!! ps. Poms welcome, and who knows maybe you will enter to the sound of the Thai girls saying "Gidday Mate, hows it goin?" Call me if you don't know how to get here 0803 133 080 Carn the Saints

Roy, "they" say most peoples' lives are defined by good and bad decisions.

Picking the Handbaggers is obviously one of the former.

Following the Mugpies is very definitely one of the latter - right up there with, say, opening a new bar in Day & Night, staffed exclusively by ladyboys, and 1000 baht barfines.

Pussies by 21 points.

Do Pommy Collingwood supporters still get the free Leo with the burger ? I presume niot as they are loosers after all, so imagine this is just another sad tale for them.

I can see the signs outside this Saturday

Aussie Bar open for AFL Grand Final Day, All Welcome * ( except u Collingwood waynkers - 15% surcharge )

With the wi fi there, it should be possible to send a PM or two to Jack and all his Geelong mates in the telephone box outside Slick Eddies

There u have it, the last remaining bastion of support for your Colliepies, Jack the Spratt has dumped you.

Even Jack knows when to give up on them.

Robinson Crusoe comes to mind now Roy.

Enjoy ur game in Day n Night this Saturday, U wont get a Free Leo with your meat and 2 veg there !

Fortunately the box is inside Eddies bar - possibly one of the nicest in Thailand :D

If you have wi fi on Saturday, you may wish to have a peek at what is happening around 11.30am Saturday (or any other time for that matter).

Webcam is: http://eddies-bar.dyn-o-saur.com:8080/video.asp

Need to use IE (won't work in FireFox). Username is <guest>, password is <password> (without the <> of course).

Roy I have had a bit of a re-think on the new bar I described above - if such a place did exist, it (and particularly the staff) would surely do very well on Saturday evening, catering for disappointed St Kilda supporters.

Well I am a little bit confused now, I am detecting a underlying hostility toward all things Collingwood, maybe its my acute spider sense ringing bells or maybe just the usual paranoia that develops with the heavy medication I am on, who nows?
Ow I feel a song coming on:

Side by side we stick together,
to uphold The Magpies name.

Hear the barrackers a shouting,
as all barrackers should,

Oh, the premiership's a cakewalk
For the good old Collingwood.

Still going with the Pussy Cat Dolls by 10.

Sorry Wazza,

I think we are to late. Once you start openly supporting (coming out of the closet so to speak) Collingwood then I think we are to late. There is no hope. Lock him up now before he harms somebody.
