Got a request last night from a student of Rajabhat University if I would mind being interviewed by a bunch of students today, I agreed and seven young ladies turned up this morning at my place, the point was to have a discussion in English, I let them lead the way:
1) what is your name
2) where you flom
3) where you live in thailand (bit pointless this question as they were sitting in my living room IMO)
4) how long you stay in thailand
5) what do you think of Thai people
interview over.
The whole thing was very comical and made me wonder what job they had in mind after leaving Uni.
They gave me a little present after the photo shoot - a little china mug with love hearts on it.

Those are bog standard questions the same village kids would ask infact virtually anyone in Thailand, i recall being asked the Same ones donkeys years back from schoolies......you would think they are being taught something a bit more higher up the ladder being a Uni and all that.....Have a read of 'scrap the school system' in open forum...wasn't someone asking about good uni recently...

well I went to chem store and bought a few things had lunch the wife hit curb driving I had to remain silent
I found out he was my neighbor down in Jomtien we even lived in the same apartment complex small world even in Thailand now I am back in the village will return Saturday to go to the UD saturday night meet up with my friends Ralph Doug & I hope a few other will attend went to Mojo last night for the free buffet
my bill was 100 baht LOL but my friend Doug bill was more and he picked up both tabs his & mine boy I am a cheap date the wife had a wine cooler & I had 2 bottles of water of course I ate the free food why do you ask LOL well my friend David from Angels massage get back to day from the UK I guess he will thaw out in BKK with his girl friend for a couple of days before coming to Udon O.T Simon don't forget the UD center Saturday night do not confuse sat with friday LOL

2 more Medevacs, chest infection and ankle # , both by sea this time, a nice little river Cat , seats 60 odd for a medical team of 3 accompanying the patients, plus some locals who need to gom home.

Sort of think Im Jinxed out here with approx 10 patients in 3 .5 weeks all sent off for various clinical issues.

Cant wait till it all freezes over here and it gets to -35 !

Tool Box talk today chaps ! tread carefully and use the 3 point system for all accending and decending movements. Cover ur face when walking outside, as frost bite can be a bit nippy.

I myself had a run in with a grown up at work and I lost my rag and told him he didn't know what he was talking about. Not good, there was an embarrassed silence in the conference room from fellow workmates. I need to learn to hold my tongue.

Took the Mrs To Have Her Hair Done...also Got Them To Trim the little Monkeys Hair whilst we where there....Did a big Shop in the super.....went down the beach for a bit of digging in the sand and stone throwing in the water......stopped at the pub fired up one of my favourite lardys...a Backwoods Black and Sweet aromatic cigar ,1 pint of Guinness Followed by 2 pints of Cider and Blackcurrant, stroll back home, 1 hour out on the bike....then home for Mussels in white wine and a second dish of Lambs Hearts with crisped Thai Basil.
Been a good day .

O/T's mega-thread continues... cooor, didn't it bl0ody fontok 2day or wat? velly lucky for me mind you, I nearly had the car washed yesterday..phew..Anyway, I continued my bicycle exercising down the local gym this morning, as soon as I got to the gym I had a good 45 minute chat with an american guy, very interesting, and then was ready to get stuck into my new 12 minute routine..bl0ody knackered at the end of it and managed burned off 124 calories according to the machine...I feel slim already...

Good man, working out keeps you mentally alert as well. Any gorgeous ladies exercising or were you too fixated with burning calories to notice?

Well i went to work. Unusual for me! Last went in April, but now sufficiently recovered to start again. The Stalag commandant was not amused at my long absence and has made it clear that any infraction will be dealt with harshly. Is it time to tell her i want a day off next week? Also had my holiday request for november turned down. Ok guess they will know i am on holiday when i do not turn up! But a little money until then will help. Very much a hire and fire organisation; 90% of staff do not last 3 months. Not sure wether to resign or let them sack me; but if i resign i can write a rude letter.

Make sure you have another job lined up, then write the letter. I once wrote a very rude resignation letter, handed it to my boss. After reading it, he made the cryptic remark "this is just the kind of resignation letter I would expect from you". A few years later, he contacted me and begged me to come work on a new project he had just been assigned, claiming all his new employees were boot licking arseholes and he needed someone like me who would "call a spade a fooking shovel", in his words. I took the job and never regretted it.
