Underground?

Looks like the Whitgift Centre in Croydon.

Can't really believe the traffic will be that light or the parked motorbikes so sparse.

I hope it will be as nice as the picture.

I think it might be against Udon Provincial law to build any type of shopping venue with adequate parking?

Parking will be behind the existing 'complex' building. Fairly big area. Maybe a multilevel?? The skybridge is connectiong the new Pantip Plaza. Source: lady who sells fish, chicken and somtum from a cart on Srisuk Road. That can't be wrong !

It's a Thai custom to build a spirit house when new buildings are erected, the spirits that lived on the land will have no where to live, so a house is built for them, then the spirits are not angry at the new house owner.
So let's hope they make one spirit house there too, i don't want the ghosts of farang alley get angry, i've still got a unpaid bill from one of the bars there. [-o<

I hope they don't plan building another cinema like in the artists impression. The current majorplex is empty most of the time so I don't see the need for another one. :?

I wonder how long before this project is complete.
Central took over over 1 year ago.Since then the only noticeable changes are more security guards in the complex and the buffet at the Charoensri Grand going up to 285 baht !
At this rate of progress I would estimate the finishing time similar to the 2020 Olympics !

they don't seem to be in any hurry, as 'brother's club' opened, so surely at least a 1 yr lease. with the major investment in KK, I think they are in wait and see mode, plus that unbelievable huge investment in super hotel in pattatya, which teak door has a link about, seem way overpriced, along with expensive extras, i can't see doing very good, especially with world economies tightening up. though they said they want to be the premium hotelier in asia/world, and they do seem to own too much and have too much money, but if they keep up all this spending, it may bite them in the butt, so wait and see how KK goes first before starting Udon project makes good sense. IMO.

centara pattaya project, very nice, but very expensive.
