Thailand didn't make the list. Hopefully that will be my new home in the next few months. :D

Norway is a very nice place with lovely scenery but very very expensive.A pint of beer will knock you back over 320 baht!
Also when I was there one time in June it snowed......freezing dark winters as well, not so good for the elderly.
Iceland, another cold expensive place and didnt they nearly go bankrupt earlier this year ?
Britain very lucky to make 21st imo.....must be some bad places out there !

Australia in 2nd, Canada 4th and US in 13th place.

Guess US would have ranked higher if it wasn't for the big city slums. Spent childhood in Detroit but it was a nice place to grow up in those years. Northern Michigan is hard to beat, we call it God's Country up there. Lived in south Florida, San Diego and North Carolina. All beautiful places, also.

Thailand 87th? Think if the survey was done here it would have ranked in the top ten. :D

They may say 87, but still number #1 for me, due to my finances. obviously, if a USD millionaire, instead of a THB millionaire, i'd be enjoying the more comforts and less frustrating places, such as USA, but since any improved lifestyle in those places are out of my budget range, #1 here is working just fine. 8)

the ladies are a plus also :D
