if we did post about the same time just a coincidence nothing sinister. As you know sladie is in the UK Skyhawk probably in Udon and i,m elsewhere . Regarding the photos displayed on the forum its just a few friends doing what most ex pats do having a few beers, why it was deemed important to display them is beyond me, it is now getting personal and about time the moderator stepped in and put a stop to it all.

Hell...I figure this thread is going in so many different directions, I may as well throw in a story about the Classical Greek Philosopher Socrates:
Socrates on Rumor...

something bad about him even though you're not certain

Socrates continued, "You may still pass though because
there is a third test - the filter of Usefulness. Is what you
want to tell me about my student going to be useful to me?"

"No, not really..."

"Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell
me is neither True nor Good nor even Useful, why tell
it to me at all?"

The man was defeated and ashamed and said no more.

This is the reason Socrates was a great philosopher
and held in such high esteem.

It also explains why Socrates never found out that
Plato was banging his wife...or so it is rumored.

My brother is a realtor in the US. After we bought our land, built our house, he asked what sort of legal proceedings we encountered in doing so. I said, "Legal proceedings?" Quite the opposite from what you go through in the US when you conduct such transactions.

Yes i recall that post well richardpx was the poster....he gave a glowing report and the G-man sounded so helpful and a top bloke too, thats why this is all so hard to take in about the G-man....I am hoping there must be some mistake.

I think it's a little unfair to call Steve Slade a "conman". To be a conman requires a modicum of intelligence. Something which Mr Slade most certainly is lacking in. No, "common thief" is a much more appropriate label for his ilk.
