Disagree. The bottles get warm in a big hurry in this heat and then you have to put ice in your glass. Yech! Get a trash barrel, fill it with ice and cold water and fish around for your cans of beer. Ice cold Leo Beer in a can, perfect! :drunk:

Found the condoms at Foodland in BKK on Soi 5 recently. Don't think you can get a large Leo in one of those though. :-k

Drink faster? Yeah, that's the ticket! :D

Take beerglass/mug with a grip on it. Pour about half a cm water into it and put in the freezer. When water in the glass is frozen solid, pour your beer into glass. After a while the flat chunk of ice will float up and place itself as a lid on the surface of the beer. And beer will stay cold for a long time.

Annoying - frogs in buckets for sale in Nongbua market with wire wrapped around their wee legs and no water to keep them moist. Not very Buddhist to treat animals like that....

One bag of apples has a scan label. The other doesn't. The checkout girl is befuddled. She gives you the blank stare that says, "you didn't really want those apples, did you?"
"Yes, I did!" And I'm willing to wait in this line until you get someone to put a label on.

I give up after 5 minutes and go back and get the label myself. Another minute goes by.

I'll guess the folks behind me weren't pleased.

there one at every check out counter PITA it so easy to make sure your items have been priced before you
go to the check out counter. I know it very difficult to look for the bar code. I guess some of you are to young to remember when they use to have men at the check out counter with a # 3 pencil and brown paper sack and write the the numbers of each item and add them up you pay the bill and off you went. reason for men women could not add it even shows today sadly

Annoying - my outlaws' dogs chewing bones underneath my bedloom window in the dead of night.

Annoying 2 - my outlaws' dogs and the other soi dogs howling when the last jet flies out of Udon airport. They start as soon as they hear those flaming engines.

Annoying 3 - feeling whacked out after my long flight into Udon. It's a waste of a day to recover...

One particular road from Phen to the Udon-Nong Khai highway. Sometimes, I think more holes than road and a couple large enough to double as swimming pools. 8-[ Repairs will eventually be carried out, unsatisfactorily, so with a few good downpours and heavy vehicles, we're back to square one.

Yes I remember that....
We had a [ 5 & 10 ] That is 5 cents and 10 Cents store where the clerk would wrap up your purchase in plain brown paper that was neatly torn off of a roll and bound it all together with a string that was tied off in a bow. That was back when we had a milk man that would deliver milk in glass quart jars to your house. Thanks for the memory.
