Robbery in Udon's Tesco Lotus

Ing,on the Home news channel 3 on Tues night 17th,there was an incident at the new Tesco's involving a farang wife,who said,according to the TW,that she lost 70k cash from her handbag,6 baht gold from her wrist and a further gold chain around her neck.
She had been seen by a group of 5 Thais who she said offered her a drink of water in a restaurant and somehow she was in a spell after drinking the water and handed everything over to them.
Not sure whether the money was to buy gold from a store in Tesco's or she had just bought some and was seen and had extra money in her handbag if wanting to buy more.
Was hoping this news would have been reported as would attract answers from both sides from forumites,whether scam by her with reference to a spell on her by drinking water,or whether not to show off your gold around town,or where was the farang when this all happened.

Supposedly the police are reviewing all cctv cameras .

Keep us informed if it is true,maybe just to remind farang about their wifes/girlfriends to be extra vigilant with gold showing or intention to buy.

this was in the bkk post a few weeks ago. thai lady reported to the bkk police that she had been robbed. she had been in a taxis and she noticed the driver was wearing gloves, the driver had put a hand over one of the air vents and she had past out. when she came to she realised she had been robbed. she past out but the driver did not! work that one out.
