Chinese Medicine
Chinese Medicine
I'm just trying to find the location of a Chinese Herbal Medicine shop in Udon. I read about it a while back in the Udonmap magazine, which I can no longer find.
My wife has had a cough for months now and tried numerous medicines and she really wants to give the herbal/animal anatomy route a go.
I've done a search and tried to download previous versions of the magazine with no luck so just hoping someone might be able to help?
Thanks

Re: Chinese Medicine
There is a Chinese herbal medicine shop near the corner of Posri Rd and Naresuan Rd. It is 2 or 3 doors east of the intersection on the south side of Posri. The practitioner there will probably talk with her, feel the pulse in her wrist and maybe look at her tongue.
All the remedies I or the wife have received were very bitter, but worked their magic in a week or two.

Re: Chinese Medicine
Thanks for the prompt help, hope it works better than the prescribed medicine she's been given!
Re: Chinese Medicine
You couldn't post a grid ref of roughly where it is could you? I can't find Naresuan Rd and my eyes have gone funny for trying!
Re: Chinese Medicine
Per UdonExpats description, I'd but it about J-11 on Udon Map. Naresuan Rd runs along the east side of the prison facilities.
Re: Chinese Medicine
Actually K-11, a little further east. Just north of the police station. Opposite the Bangkok Bank.

Theo Wattana Charoen Medical clinic - opp. to bank of Ayudhya tel. 086-068+4848 - easy to find, when you coming to nongkhai, cross the first light and right by no 2 light and than 2 km but you will see the bank - normally she is always closed on a sunday - good luck
