Old-Timer revealed as NOT the mighty chang

Post by Laan Yaa Mo » January 3, 2010, 1:10 am

Wow? How did anyone figure out the Mighty Chang was Old-Timer? He wore that disguise well. He was arrogant and eccentric, but still believable as a legitimate poster.

It now seems obvious that Mr. Nicey is the elephant man too as he asks the same type of questions.

True Brit caught on to Farangano quickly and deduced something was seriously amiss.

Clearly Parmanoman (or whatever it is) is Chang too.

Someone also mentioned Astrid as being chang as well.

This guy is coming close to driving the forum.

I wonder how many disguises he is using on udonmap?

Well done Danny you've still got em rattle, becoming a legend within you own Chang bottle. :drunk:

Bandung, I am not rattled by him at all but both Jack Spratt here, and Westerby on the other Udon site, have mentioned that your beloved Danny is Old Timer. I missed when that was spotted and was curious about it since Old Timer seemed like a typical poster, and not too condescending and obtrusive like mighty Chang. Maybe this revelation took place in late August up to mid-September when I was on vacation on not on the forums much.

There are many posters that have left a larger, and superior, mark than your pal.

I have one of those marks outside my front gate. It was left by the farmer's cow.

My, my "Chang itus' has taken hold, has it not.. :D
Few facts I know, without letting any secrets out the bag, or breaking any rules.
MC used to live in Bangdung, now lives back in UK, is in his 30s & real name is Danny.
Old Timer has been seen & talked to by people I know & is called Simeon. He also posts from Thailand, but has posted from Africa in the past.
Astrid is Swedish.
Farangano is in Thailand. I actually partly believe what he says - that he has a failed relationship in Udon & he thinks this has given himself some sort of incite into relationships in Thailand. I feel VERY sorry for him. He has learnt nothing from the experience & is doomed to recycle the experience unless he gets help.
Parmanoman?? Hi Danny, hope it is not to cold in UK for you.... :D

Thank you Khun Helm for the clarification.

It was hard to believe that Old Timer was Danny. Astrid seemed to be genuine too. Sorry to hear about Farangano, and one hopes he gets the assistance that he needs.

You are one of the people that have left a mark of a superior quality than that made by the mighty chang and the neighbour of Udon Expat's cow.

Well, I better go and inform the good people on the Udon other site about this.

Thanks again.

As for me I will take a walk in purgatory, a 30-minute walk in -25 degree C temperatures, for raising this topic.

I have just realised, if you deduce it syllogistically, MC comes from Ban Dung, Ban Dung is the home of Jack Spratt therefore Jack Spratt must ................ =D> =D>

There is a lighter side here --- Your taking this TOO seriously! Just so we understand each other, you said 'superior' and he is 'my pal', NOT ME!!!!

To be honest the legendry Mighty Chang has been quite busy over the past 8 months. Since arriving back in the UK. The wife the past 4 months after selling her house in Ban Dung to live with me back in the UK, maybe thats because she actually lubs me and maybe just maybe there is no money motive there like in so many other marriages in udon town center (just a pondering thought) scoff !! In fact there is a thought? Udonites ask the mrs to sell up because you need the extra cash because times are hard hahah double scoff (SHE LUBS ME SHE LUBS ME NOT?) as shakepear looks on triple scoff!!
Dominican republic is nice this time of year we have just come back . I was thinking of skulking around Pattaya buying croaking frogs from central thai woman faking to be north tribe woman but i guess there is more to see in the world (just a thought). Anyway look on the bright side there is always the monthly night market meeting to look forward to ,and the ability to slag off people who are not in the preasent company and of course the wife and inlaws to slag off.
Hello patriot how are yee just for the record the mrs did not kick me out I returned back to the UK to work on a construction in grain powerstation while she sold "our mansion" house in Ban Dung yes it can happen it can honest.
The reason to move back to the uk was 1.) I did not want my kids to grow and be educated in the 1st world up to be rice farmers with IQ's of soi dogs .. 2.) There is a huge difference from living in thailand and a holiday and I was bored out of my skull 3. It was nice to exchange the high thai baht against weak english pound upon the sell of my mansion (scoff scoff wibbly wobbly double dribble)
So what for the legend now? well Sri lanka in april wibbly wobble then back to Udon in july to vist the normal inlaw with no expectations and proceed to watch skulking seed lords limp up the steps outside the shoping center armed with a bag pop corn , to watch the free circus entertainment (as john merick looks on) complete with flour bag.

Remember the chang never attacks personally he waits for skulking seed lords to jump on the seedy band wagon and becomes their own victims (BURP!!)

OH how i would love to live in a 3rd world country on the bones of my backside with no bridge back to my own country with a woman i don't trust hahahah ( MEGA scoff ) it is quite amazing if you think about it enit ei ei ei owwwwwwwwwww

LUB the mighty chang (danny) xxxx

Well, happy new year to you as well Danny.
I am glad that you are doing well in UK. I am sorry that, despite your wonderful existence & marriage, that you still find it necessary to come on the Forum and wind people up & insult people you have never met. If I was a physiologist then I guess that I would make much of the difference between words & actions & what that may reveal about you, your life & character but as I don't really care, I can't be bothered.
I am also glad that you made so much money at the misfortune of others, in the demise of the GBP against the Thai Baht - Again the boast and gloat says much about your character and personality.
I also note how you feel necessary to denigrate others who chose to live in Udon rather than in a colder climate. I wonder how much of that is jealousy because, at the end of the day, for whatever reasons, you could not hack it yourself, and they could.

I thought it was a pretty good post from the Mighty Chang, not toooo offensive and witty. Could be considered as his "magnum opus" :D
