Looks like the Man City v Blackburn match will go ahead tonight, so I hope your opponent hasn't got too many players in that.
On a personal note I need it to be played, only 5 pts so far, so need Given, Richards and most of all Tevez to perform.
Will have to keep an eye on the weather situation this week, if it improves and all games are being played, it may just about be "WILD CARD" time

I have Tevez....He Has Given, a City defender and a City Mid Fielder,..(Neither have regular full games) If Blackburn score i should be ok....as long as 'The Tevez' Pops A Couple In and Gets a Bonus Point.,or 3.
I am sure next weeks games will be good.....we have seen the worst, and its well above freezing.

Good luck BM.

Not happy with my CYKI this week. Made my first 4 point hit to get Lampard in and made him captain and then forgot all about it. Even got Tevez in earlier in the week. What a plonker. :?

With the lack of any meaningful footie over the last few days, it seems that the Tabloids have been scrapeing the barrel again for a story or two.
Shirkers FC have officially denied any connections with the three Kings from the Orient, who were seen chatting to their caretaker manager (Mary Maggie Delany) over the christmas period. Ms Delany, it would appear was attending the same birthday party as the Oriental Gentlemen and just happened to exchange a few pleasentries with them about a star or two.
It should also be noted that the Shirkers have no interest in buying Wayne Rooney, who it had mistakenly been suggested was also at the party (the journalist had mistakenly thought he had seen Wayne with a young pregnant woman on his back).
A statement issued by the club today, has confirmed however that Ms Delany has offered her resignation, after photo's of her and Three Wise Men had been published in the "Sunday Smut". She appologised for her behaviour in what appears to be some kind of orgy behind the stable bike sheds later that same evening. The club have accepted her resignation and promoted the office cleaner, Fag Ash Lil from Harold Hill to caretaker manager with immediate effect.

I can only think I must be doing something drastically wrong with my thinking of how to play this game.

Take Stephens team at the top of the league for example. Leaves Teves out of his team and then he is auto-sub'd in and made captain for 34 points. With skill like that I'm wasting my time. :D

A pretty good start for Fag Ash Lill as the new manager............ there is absolutely NO TRUTH in the rumour that she was office cleaner at the Real Wasters ground before being appointed to the "shirkers" last month

He did have Tevez in Galee....but as his chosen capt didn't play so its gone on 'form'....so it went to Tevez....lucky to get that...but great to have The Tev playing.

i just hoped diamatri would have scored more goals against a weaker team than the team tevez was playing against. just shows the importance of clicking the form button, rather than value button when selecting your replacement captain.
may get rid of lampard soon, he is playing too deep with two forwards up front lately.
he is not getting into the box enough.
maybe saving himself ( like gerrard ) for the world cup in june.

getting rid of Vermaelen this week.
he got 19 points in one game at the start of the season, and has been just average since then.
maybe get myself a spurs defender, as after this week, they have an easy run of games.

second thoughts on vermaelen this week.
fantasy football has just now included two more games next week.
arsenal, bolton ,liverpool and spurs also play twice in this game week.
lots of points available.
good luck. :D

Typical, bloomin' typical ...................

I spent about 3 hours yesterday juggling with my team, and working out who to keep and who to ditch with my wild card, and now 4 of the players I was going to ditch, have double bubble games next week

Good job I only made my changes on a bit of paper :-k

Better set aside another 3 hours to do it all again

Well that's it ........ all done now ............ live by the sword etc;etc
Wild Card played, and the "all new" shirkers side will take the field against the Dynamoes this weekend =D> =D>

Could be the biggest c*ck-up since FF was invented ................ who in their right minds would let "Fag Ash Lill" loose with 100m in her pocket (how much did she spend on players, and how much went in "tax free" bunces in brown paper bags? [-X ).

I suppose we will just have to wait until the weekend 8-[

Q) When do you KNOW you have been living in Thailand tooooooo long?

A) When you play your wild card to get certain players into the team for the current week, without any forward planning at all. Never gave a thought to what the consequenses of my actions might be. Bash on regardless, let's get NOW sorted [-X

Guess who's only got 8 players next week (including two Birmingham defenders and their goalkeeper, and they play AT Stamford Bridge).

Oh well ......... guess that's finally proved that you CAN'T trust Buddah to look after everything
