Whose showing the football live?

Can anyone recommend a place in town where I can watch the world cup games live, preferrable with english commentary and with decent beer. Thanks.

any place that has UBC. The only place I know of is city lodge. But maybe Harry's has it

Most bars are showing the world cup.

You could try the City Lodge, Irish Clock (free snacks), Aussie Pub, Steve's bar, Horseshoe Bar, fifty fifty bar or basically any other bar opposite the shopping complex.

It would be nice to get some coordination amongst the bars so each night a different bar could host a party and really be packed. Not sure if this is possible though.

You might want try the night market also, they have been showing the games live. I heard they have been pretty busy at the night market up and through 10pm.

Indoors at home in udon it can be watched live in english on home cable tv channel S3 (Sports 3), a feed from south africa.. All matches

Yes, the above is good coverage and in English. (Udon's Home cable TV).

It seems to be on or around channel 53/55, depending on your particular TV setup.

There are in fact 3 Sports Channels, recently showing Rugby, Cricket, Motor Cycle racing, Tennis and Surfing, as well as the World Cup football. On my cable TV they are on channels 53, 55 and 57.

I notice most bars in the complex have World Cup football coverage, though "Fuzzy Ken's" has it on a large screen in AC room.
