Yes Everton fan, we can see what direction he is headed, and it is the same road that led him to purgatory on the other forum.

If beer is payed or for free doesn't really matter if it is good or not.

You also could say: the best beer is the one I offer to a pretty girl ;)

In fact it ist the alcohol that makes the beer tasty.
So please don't drink beer with less than 6%.

That one has been playing in my head since spotting this thread. Well, at least I didn't say Schlitz.

This may make some of you Bostonians homesick, but when I'm doing any work stints in Newport, R.I. I drink "Samuel Adams Summer Ale" by the bucket. Absolutely love the stuff.

Hi.
Never been into the bottled sh-t they call beer. To full of gas etc. Should be prosecuted for calling it beer. CAMRA. did a survey into this and I am afraid bottled beers took a very low position on their poll. As said before its what your brought up with. I went for a sailing trip to US. the first place we stopped in, the first beer, although awful and low alcohol, went down well, we do not drink when sailing. when we ordered a third bottle, I think alcohol cont. less than 2% they refused to serve us, fair enough we had been on a yacht for a few weeks and were not looking our best, but I think all four of us, who back home could down at least six pints, of 5% beer and walk home could have drunk a lot more than 1 pint of their weak sh-t they called beer.

Obviously you can't comprehend English well enough to realize this is a BEST BEER thread. You're lucky I wasn't the bartender because dealing with azzholes like you I would probably refuse you a beer and then crack the bottle off and shove it up your backside.

Now... still don't have a favorite beer?

I don't like beer, and never drink it.

However, I love Hires root beer although the diabetes limits my intake of that wonderful brew.

Hope this helps. 55555

I like to drink the local beer of little breweries.

So at home we drink the beer that is used most in our restaurant: egger
International I like this beer with 7.9%:bavaria
or this: Amsterdam by grolsch

Hi Texpat.
To say I can't comprehend English, and then go and spell assholes, as azzholes, leaves a lot to be desired on YOUR comprehension of English. No such word in the English lan.. The first lesson I learnt when criticizing people is to get everything right, or you look like that azzhole that you are calling other people. I WAS referring to real beer, ie draught, which my fav. is OKELL's. Has come in the top three for many a year in the good beer guide by CAMRA. Not the rubbish I had to drink in the States.
Mich quoted two good beers Bavaria and Grolsch.
And Tex you can try that with the bottle but a lout like you will not get very far. Believe me, I will not be just standing there doing nothing. Still it's what is expected from some who think they have more brawn than brains.

Amsterdam by Grolsch? Not sure what you mean, Grolsch is a Dutch beer, but i never heard they made a beer called Amsterdam and i also doubt they will ever do that. There brewery is not situated in Amsterdam, but in Enschede (and before that in Groenlo). It is a good beer however.

Yo Jorg,
Grolsch brew a range of "Amsterdam" beers, the strongest of which is about 11%, a bit heavy for me

There's a good boy. That wasn't so hard now, was it?

Might I highly recommend you never go to the states again. They don't suffer fools gently -- probably why you had such a rough go of it.

Hey, easy Texpat.
Each year I work for 6 weeks in Lauderdale and 6 weeks in Newport, RI, the New England folk being arguably the most hospitable I've ever met .... and that's me being a "ghastly Brittle" :D

I don't have a "home" to miss. Lived in several states growing up -- none for more than five years. Spent nearly my entire adult life abroad.................
