Can beer monkey hold on to claim the title ?
Can Ron defeat the "best of British" and win for America ?
Can Steve bring glory to the beleagured city of Liverpool ?

i get a funny feeling, fergie might rest rooney,
with three big games coming up in one week.
Bayern Munich twice and Chelsea inbetween them.
you know the saying " sacrifice a little , to gain a lot".
think thats what i will be doing this week.
i think i have the beating of you this week soi sauce. :D
i would hate to have to pick your defenders this week.
plus with having drogba, milner, dunne and bendtner all doubtful,
maybe i can urge you into panic buying mode and
wasting a few points on transfers.
chok dee.

lol poolshark...

No panic buying for me, i have come this far without it, and i don't want to start now...1 transfer today,Drog will play, Roon will play, Bender will play, I don't think Dunne will though....yeah me defence is not great this week,Defenders are hit and miss...difficult to pick and you can't rely on getting good points each game....you have 2 Spurs men....but pompy will score .. ;)

I bet you thought when I wrote that I'd had too many Beer Changs bm......correct ??? [-X
BUT
The H2H only has 2 weeks to go......16 teams = 30 matches......28 matches played already.....thus only 2 left.
Thats my understanding.....maybe Khun Galee, the owner can confirm ?? :-k
So if I am correct then its "the turtles head popping out" time for you,Steve and Ron in the H2H !! 8)

However the FU Fantasy League still has 7 weeks to go (like the real Premiership) so plenty of time for Team America to continue their rich vein of form and win the title.......maybe !!! ;)

Zidane,

Did you look under "Matches" in FU H2H league? It shows scheduled matches through Week 38. Your remainders are shown as:
32 I am...Sasha Fierce : Sick Buffalo
33 Firstly,its souness : I am...Sasha Fierce
34 Real Wasters : I am...Sasha Fierce
35 I am...Sasha Fierce : Taffy Dragons
36 Real Wasters : I am...Sasha Fierce
37 I am...Sasha Fierce : Lomiens
38 Taffy Dragons : I am...Sasha Fierce
No worries about America's Team winning anything. My players are going down like flies. Presently have 3 injured players plus Drogba with an iffy knee and Vermaelen binned this week because of receiving a red card. #-o

No I didnt Ron....thanks for the heads up. ;)
I just assumed it was the 16 teams who played each other twice.....15 x 2 = 30 games as you cant play your own team.
No probs with another 6 more games as it will keep the competition going.
So I stand corrected to you as well bm.....good luck to you,Steve and Ron.....may the best man win ! 8)

Like a bonehead, I transferred Lampard (and Dunne) for Fabregas (and Evra). Lamps gets FOUR goals and an assist and 28 total points. Fabregas got 2 points. Evra did OK with 6 points and Dunne ended up with -2. Reluctant to look at FU league this am but somehow managed to get 47, mainly because of Malouda's 17 points.

(C) Drogba and Rooney didn't play and my tick mark shows "value". Guessing Fabs will be my emergency captain, BM? If I would have ticked "form", would my highest scorer (Malouda) been made emerg cap'n?

Kudos to Gozzo for naming Lampard his team's captain for 56 points. =D>

Thanks for the condolences, BM. I watched the Chelsea match but it kept getting worse by the minute with Lamps scoring like no end. And they kept showing Drogs sat in the stands nursing whatever kept him out. 8-[

It looks like Fabs I'm afraid as he is the highest Value, Form Would Have Given You Malouda,....maybe i will scrape through then... [-o<

Emergency El'Capitano, Form Or Value is chosen by.....'highest form or price value at the start of the gameweek',

Drogba is dragging butt with a groin pull and will need a hernia operation sooner or later. Will he try to play through pain this week and risk further injury or rest up for the World Cup? :-k Another reason to delay those transfers until Sat afternoons. Now what do I do? 8-[

Its the last week of the Fantasy League so well done to Steve who looks certain to achieve the double of the FU League and H2H. =D>
Also very well done to beer monkey, who has had another good season, and to Ron who has done fantastically well for an American in a foreign league !
For the moderators....Bob,Ralph and Alan....if it was the real world you would have been sacked at Xmas :D and what happened to last years champion, souey ! ;)

Thanks for letting me crash the party, guys. Congrats to Steve for finishing in first place in this highly competitive football league. =D> Good seasons for Beer Monkey and Zidane, also. I somehow lucked out and finished in 4th and happy about it, you betcha. A lot of guys in there who know a hundred times more than I do about this great sport. Thanks to everybody, especially to Galee for setting it up and running it all so well.

Caution: Thaitanic Brandt made a helluva run at the end and moved up from 16th to 12th. He will be a force to reckon with next season.

Yep, another season of frustration finally comes to an end.
Congrats to the top 3. Another good year for Polehawk. Seem to remember you had a good year last year. I see the league finished in the top 10,000, so a big improvement on last year.
Personally, I missed out on picking the right captain too many times and couldn't resist making those compulsive transfers at the last minute. I also made the mistake of trying to catch a mate in another league and didn't make obvious transfers because I didn't want to duplicate one of his players. Wont be making that mistake next year.
On the bright side I did well in CYKI. Inside top 100 of the world but frustratingly was knocked off top spot in Thailand on the last day. Transferred in Cahill, he didn't play and Ivanovic was taken off on the 59th minute.
On the down side I'm disappointed with the input on the forum. I use to enjoy the banter. At times I thought I was talking to my self, so stopped posting.

Agreed Mr P has been good...slowly creeping up the league...as he did last season...

Me Too...i said to myself i was not going to go OTT on transfers....but that pesky Steve kept me on my toes...and staying in the FF cup for a while kept me at bay for a while as i didn't want to drop points on trannies..

I had cahill too....but i think Dunn came on for him, so not all bad..and well done on the cyki..i didn't follow that.

agreed...it dried up, some hardly posted and possibly partly due to me being somewhere else, as you know i could never stop myself making posts..!!!... but did 'check in' after gameweeks....but as you say...not much going on.

Heres to the next season looming upon us.....top 5000 next year..Thanks for getting me hooked 2 seasons ago Galee...i feel like an old hand now i spent hours each day + Night gazing at my team(s)....whilst the Mrs waited for me In Bed.. :ugly:
