I have siad it before, it is my understanding although NOT confirmed ( but that is ongoing as we speak) that a Farang ( foreigner can in fact own the land and the house .
The mute point is that Thais do not want to advertise that and also it ain't retroactive.
But I do understand that should I wish to do so I can transfer all my land into my name . So there is a law, it is just that no-one wants to use it.

I always wonder why there are so many so ready to attack Thailand's people, but want to live here. While my experiences with visas, extensions, a yellow book, opening bank accounts and getting a drivers license could be called "few" in the eyes of expat vets, the experiences have all been positive for me.

You are going about it the wrong way, Dahm
Get the relevant form printed out from the internet, research the rules and go in to the land office prepared. Give the girl the form reference if necessary.
If you come across as an arrogant farang - and I am not saying you are but "clueless" clerks may suggest you lack some social skills - you will forever be ripped off here whether it's in government offices or by builders.

Errr..uh...this is already done. Awhile ago. It's over. I was correct in the assessment, handling, and execution of the resolution. But thanks.pamudon wrote:You are going about it the wrong way, Dahm
