According to lunchtime news today the Thai Government have decided to extend the curfew in Bangkok and all provinces for a further two days. So for us in Udonthani the curfew is extended until 6am next Wednesday.

Surely that would make it 06:00 on TUESDAY morning not Wednesday.

The curfew is tonight and tomorrow night if not extended tomorrow. Time 2300-0400 both nights.

It seems the safety may be only superficial. Class warfare could be just around the corner. It is wise to remain aware of your surroundings.

I've heard reports that many red shirts are removing posters of certain key figures from their homes.

1 week ago, i predicted it is only a matter of time before the Bangkok troubles came to Udon, now i say that when the first innocent Farang bystander is killed, that is when the rush for the exit will commence.

But where will we all go ? Thailand is the most advanced economy in South East Asia. Laos and Cambodia are primitive,
And most of us can't afford to return to farang lands,

Maybe in the interim,those fearful in Udon and other provinces,could move to Nong Khai where the absence of conflict has been very notable and evidenced by the lack of curfew and turmoil incidents! =D>

I read an intervju with a man returning from Bangkok to his neglected rice field in Udon. He claimed that the reds did not lose. (So they won then?) And it is not over. But they did not have any leaders now and there is no one to tell them what to do! So the man does not know what to do!
The word sheep comes to my mind but I fear other expressions be more appropriate.
