LAO travel

Hi guys ,while capetown girl and i are in thailand at end of year we will be travelling to laos cambodia and vietnam,
what i want to know has anybody had problems as a mixed couple in these countries ,
regards all see you in december .

No problems at all. However, folks in Vietnam and Cambodia will wonder why your wife doesn't speak to them. The locals there will assume that she is local also.

As long as your lady is not a Laos national it is no more concern to the authorities there than it would be in Thailand.

Designer, you should'nt have any problems on your travels in SE Asia, However if your lady happens to possess a John Thomas, she can expect a warm hand shake welcome in the land of smiles.

I had to Google "John Thomas" to find out that it is British slang for penis. I'm trying to figure out now if Bilko's post is just good natured humor or completly unnecessary disrespect for capetown girl. Guess I'll have to wait and see how designer responds. I thought negative comments about other members wifes and girl-friends are off-limits on this forum or am I reading it wrong?

As of yet shado, you'll be pleased to know i have'nt been sent to hell on a hand cart. If designer finds my post OTT then i'am sure he will let me have it both barrels, which i will take on the chin like a good'en. Now if you read my post a little closer, you'll find that my tongue in cheek comment was aimed at the "Land of smiles" as i put it. Having been drifting in and out of this kingdom for umpteen years and throwing all my hard earned lolly at it , maybe you could find it in your
heart to cut me a bit of slack.

Will the real john thomas stand up and come forward.
