Just voted a bit fat YES to OT, and this survey will assist in him becoming a Moderator...lol

OT adds a hell of a lot to Udonmap and it would be a sad place with out his sense humour, his remarks certainly lighten up my day.

Keep going OT

Bill

But it only takes a few more no or don't know votes before we get a "HUNG OT"

I voted YES because it's so obvious that you're on here with a harmless sparkle in your eye! :D

No option. Voted YES. Don't like the idea of being a -------- and I don't know what a DIV is.

While talking about "old" my favorite quotes, which may apply in some way to OT:

Growing old is compulsory, growing up is optional.

Three things happen when you get old: first you start losing your memory and.............................................can't remember the other two.

OT and I share a common outlook on life, apart from our definition of WFBs, ;)
That is that we both believe in growing old disgracefully.

Just because OT is called “Old Timer” and his avitar is of an old guy, does not necessarily mean he IS old, I reckon he is in his mid to late 40s. ;)

Come on OT Fess up.... \:D/

Thought everyone was 'welcome' on Udonmap, therefore maybe the actual poll heading itself is wrong....and you seem to have been here a long time OT, therefore if you weren't welcome you surely would have gotten the hint by now or do you just need your ego massaging.

To be totally honest mate, I find a lot of your posts very lighthearted and often quite childish but occasionally they do make me smile...a little :| and talking in the third person, as you do, took some getting used to, at first I thought you may be slightly 'tapped' but who am I to judge. You're not doing any harm but if you had an avatar like Jacks that would certainly give you more kudos in my books, (love that jiggling ass).

Just keep on what you're doing buddy, seems you have quite a few fans on here.

Pedantic and non-sycophantic to the core....EG \:D/

Actual age? According to his bio 75. Mental age? Certainly in his teens. So 40 seems a good average of the two.
Ageing is a privilige denied to many .

Technically you are correct but a number of sites have gone to the jury on this one. The way I read it really depends on what we are trying to say.

http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/majority.html
- Majority - singular or plural?

“Majority” may be used either as singular or plural. When used to describe a collective group, it is singular. When used for a collection of individuals, it is plural.

Are we a collective group or a collection of individuals?

Barnydung-dero has lost OT here a little bit, quite simply and as explained by davecryan, OT is literate. However BD has now been proven again to be a nitpicking --------.
I never did well at English language at school, and considering I'm English that says quite a lot about how much I pay attention. A lot later on I did manage to scrape through and get a MBA, and that was before google was invented.

OT.......out in front as always.... \:D/

There you go, after that outburst we would have to be considered as 'collection of individuals' with our own idiosyncrasies, I'm a -------- where OT is the salt of the Earth. So, definitely not a 'collective group', in this case the noun is plural! --- I rest my case.

BD..it is even easier if you think of a 'majority' as the greater of 2 numbers, the other obviously is the minority. They are both individual items, therefore they are both singular.
You can say 'a group of people is....'. and 'groups of people are.......'...it is not the volume of numbers that matters but whether the noun is singular or plural.
I left school 55 years ago, cant believe I can still remember all this ----. :( :D :D
