To be totally honest mate, I find a lot of your posts very lighthearted and often quite childish but occasionally they do make me smile...a little and talking in the third person, as you do, took some getting used to, at first I thought you may be slightly 'tapped' but who am I to judge. You're not doing any harm but if you had an avatar like Jacks that would certainly give you more kudos in my books, (love that jiggling ass).

Barnydung-dero has lost OT here a little bit, quite simply and as explained by davecryan, OT is literate. However BD has now been proven again to be a nitpicking --------.
I never did well at English language at school, and considering I'm English that says quite a lot about how much I pay attention. A lot later on I did manage to scrape through and get a MBA, and that was before google was invented.

BD..it is even easier if you think of a 'majority' as the greater of 2 numbers, the other obviously is the minority. They are both individual items, therefore they are both singular.
You can say 'a group of people is....'. and 'groups of people are.......'...it is not the volume of numbers that matters but whether the noun is singular or plural.
I left school 55 years ago, cant believe I can still remember all this ----.
