Tony ,Sunday Lunch is excellent , yorkshire puds to die for.
Andy is doing a Xmas lunch, but book early, because lads who had it last year, i think at Beer to Far, said it was excellent and they want it again.

Looking forward to paying a visit again next year, Andy made the place great when I stayed at the City Lodge a few years ago, last year decided on the Irish Clock (my Dad was across too) seems like it is all change again, hope both the places thrive though. Love the Thai food, but these too places certainly have made a home from home, but still with a Thai element.

The 100 baht beef stew is very ample and tasty including a large roll. Kids had fish n chips which was also a generous and delicious plate of food. A pleasant clean atmosphere with nice service, easy close parking. We'll be regulars....

As anticipated we became regulars, very nice place for a casual family meal.

More detail: 160 baht Lasagna with salad and bread, a hit with all and we've had it several times already. My wife loves the Steak Baguette with fried onions and chips for 120 baht, tonite had apple pie, huge piece, 60 baht. Looking forward to beef stew on Wednesday, and Pizza Fridays!

Sunday we shared two Sunday roasts, great taste and value at 150 baht each.

Monday we enjoyed four excellent Thai dishes, water, bill 320 baht.

Tonite Wednesday Greek night, we had a Moussaka with salad and bread (150 baht), lentil soup with carrots and bread (60 baht) and a Yam Woon Sen Seafood for 115 baht I believe, another excellent meal.

My only complaint is that recently Apple Crumble is not available, due to the floods etc.

Peter, Tom and Andy deserve credit for consistently nice food at reasonable prices, in a clean cozy atmosphere, very easy to park right outside.

Ran out due to a lack of potatoes, had plenty of meat left.

Andy says he is having a very hard time getting decent potattoes and refuses to serve the dregs

Come early next time :-)

City Lodge - great Thai food too!

I should have also mentioned the Thai cook (do not know his name) is very good indeed, great thai food always at reasonable prices.
