Yes, I see what you mean. Try ringing their call centre - 1318

If you are not in Thailand let me know and I'll look for an ordinary airport number.

thanks for offer

i can get wifes sister to rinh from bkk for me this week but i was just looking at time frame

have you used them and if so whats the verdict
been on air asia to udon twice last 18 months ok like our easyjet or ryanair

was looking at nok plus for extra baggage (inc the wife !)
as she will be brings tons of "presents" home for mama and papa and all the rest of her family - no problem as they never ask for anything so anything she gets for them is ok by me!

I'd recommend Nok. They are much more reliable then Air Asia, who frequently change or cancel flights.

Also as you say Nok Plus would give a higher baggage allowance and also allow you to change the flight without charge.

arjay,
Am I reading your note correctly??
You can book Nok air Udon to BKK at 7-11??? Any 7-11??
Reason I ask is I am back on 30th. August and need to spend a couple of days in Bangkok, TW wants to join me and booking via 7-11 sounds easy for her to do...

I said you can PAY at 7/11's., (i.e. after you have booked by phone, Internet or whatever).

I didn't think you could book at 7/11's.

Best thing is to ring their call centre - 1318, and they will give the options.

For information on payment methods in English, the menu selection numbers are: 9-5-1 :D

I got his quote through google. Note it's dated Sept 2005.

Note also use of "plans to", so I don't know which of these are now in operation and which are still plans. I would think that yes you can pay at some banks' ATMs as well as 7/11's.

The Bangkok Post reports Nok Air has expanded its payment channels before adding new aircraft and new routes next year. Nok Air plans to offer a payment system with wide coverage through ATMs, mobile phones and the internet. Previously the airline has worked with Siam Commercial Bank and Krung Thai Bank, with about 20m cardholders between them and it has now added Bangkok Bank with 25m cardholders. Besides ATMs, ticket payment can be made at outlets of Counter Service Co, while Advance M Pay Co will offer payments via WAP-enabled mobile phones, which total about 2.5m. CEO Patee Sarasin said currently bookings via the Nok Air web site and credit card payment accounts for 40% of all transactions.

you cannot book at 7-11 , only pay for your tickets there.
You call the booking centre (yes they speak English) on 1318, and they will ask how you would like to pay. If you opt for 7-11, they will give you a reference number and a notification of the fee charged by 7-11 for this service (about 30 baht)
Not all 7-11's can do this and you need to find one of the 'counter-plus' stores - identifiable with signs and stickers.
You tell them the reference number and they do the rest - you just pay!
Nok Air back up your booking reference by an sms message with your reference and flight times on it.
