I write for the very first time on the forum... so I will write again the same thing that I wrote with the "quote button". I would like to know if Udon Thani Golf Society's membership gives us the rivilege to have specila price for playing the golf courses around Udon Thani.

I will move in May 2011 close to Udon Thani. I hate playing competitive golf and the point system but I enjoy playing with everybody who wants to play for fun and have a good time on a golf course.

Is Udon Thani Golf Society has a list of Udon Thani's golf course including details as the way to get there (a map would be appreciate), the price for greenfee and caddy, is there a golf practice range, scpecial accomodations as locker and shower services???

If there is a list like that where can I find it on the web?

In answer to the two previous posts.
The only course the society gets a discount on is at Victory Park. The annual subscription is 500baht. You will save yourself 500baht the first time you play Victory Park if you are a member of the Society.
There are no other discounts on the courses we play. Sri Thani charges 430 baht, Wing 23 and 18K charges 300baht for 18 holes, so your not exactly breaking the bank to play. Caddie tip is extra. Up to you what to pay.
The Society plays competitive golf with small cash prizes for the winners. Most members take their golf seriously and play to the best of their ability. If you do not like competitive golf then maybe the society is not for you and a round with some friends would be more enjoyable.
Victory Park and Sri Thani have lockers and showers. Wing 23 is having a new clubhouse being built and I would expect these facilities to be available. 18K does not have locker facilities or practice facilities. It does have showers but hardly anyone uses them.
Sorry, I do not provide maps on how to get to the courses.

Thank you Galee for replying promptly. Those informations are precious for me. Hope to meet you on a golf course where I do not take my golf seriuosly... I spent my life beeing serious, now I am retired... no more stress! But I understand that some people like that way of playing golf, there are many kind of peoples in the world and I don't want that everybody think like me!

Pattayaguy, I too enjoy a game of stressfree golf not taken too seriously, I go to Udon every 3 or 4 weeks for a few days, when you move here pm me and we can meet up for a stress free game and a beer or 2

Hi Chuck, at 66 your still a youngster compared to some of the golfers. Only Victory Park locally have buggies. Most of the golf courses at Khon Kaen do.
