As I assume he believes the proverbial will hit the fan in the USA, relatively soon (GTFO 2012), doesn't he think that his citizenship will keep him on the hook wherever he goes outside the USA? Has he plans to relinquish his citizenship due to what he perceives is coming? Unlike every other citizen of the world (except PI I believe) living outside the USA isn't going keep you immune to the coming financial turmoil back there.
The USD will fall and fall hard, I am confident of that. I have no intention of giving up my citizenship as I paid into social security and want to get my return on investment. I have little investment into the US economy besides my business, and that I can sell along with my inventory. I am well positioned in the event of a collapse and or serious decline in the Dollar. Your inclination from my avatar about 2012 of ---- hitting the fan is the end of Obama's rein of killing the Dollar and entitlement programs run wild. How this relates to the thread exactly is another story....
KHONDAHM I like you my friend, we should have a beer or coffee together when i am up there. Don't hate me because I am white-lol. I can't wait to be in a place where skin color does not matter. My own mother was turned off with my getting engaged to a Thai woman, but she married a black guy. The irony kills me-lol.
WhoUrDaddy I have been to a lot of countries, I think 15 or so and anyhow I just like Thailand is all :
mrgreen: it just seems free and open, sure some downsides like corruption, extra farang charge sometimes, dirty conditions, but the people just simply rock compared to Americans.
Muni As far as staying single, I have fun and if the right woman comes along I would settle down. As for finding my cats a nice home, I am loyal to the core and would never do that. When I make a commitment, I stick with it and I adopted them. I would never let them down and if came between me eating or my cats, I would feed my cats. It is responsible parenting and I chose to adopt and one thing you will all learn about me is that I am 100% to the core reliable ALWAYS. if I can't take up my responsibilities to my cats, how would I do in a relationship? I am an animal rescue guy and would get active in doing something there for sure I suppose out of my own pocket. I understand KISS too, so renting would be easier for me. The only downside would be improvements to the house.
tigerryan I have over 30 Million Baht, the money is not an issue. Even me taking 2 Million Baht a year in interest, I would still be BANKING money.
WhoUrDaddy Understand those aspects. I am a former bad guy in life that really changed his life near 120 years ago. if you met me now, you would think "wow, this guy is really honorable" and that would be true. I go to church on Sunday, I pray, do the right things in life, do a lot of charitable acts and such and make a great friend. Before however, I was engaged in some serious criminal activities long ago before I went to Wharton and for years. That said, I am street wise yet can quickly vacillate to academia and the world of niceties. I have to ask myself, with all due respect why you are there if you do not appreciate Thailand based on your posts? I do like to complain sometimes, I will admit that, but as much as I do not appreciate the USA I am actively looking to move.
JimboLV ROFL, my thoughts exactly!
