yep that as well, another great fact I learnt when I got back was that one of my old workmates who was in Udon Dec/Jan spent some time with her (I knew about that bit) but I then learnt when I rang him to ask if he'd had any issues with her that they had a Gonohhrea scare together. great!

Kenny this is not true. You can get a test kit at any pharmacy that will work as soon as 6 days after the act. There is a risk of a false reading at this stage, so the instructions usually advise you to wait at least two weeks. My wife did this, took the test after 7 days and Bingo! Of course we had planned it, to the extent that we tested for the exact time when she ovulated, also available at any pharmacy.

There is one other aspect which you can agree with or not, but I'll throw it out there. My wife knew after 3 days that she was pregnant, without any tests. Just felt that way. And so did my previous wife in America, so it's not a Thai thing. So it is possible that she knew she was pg in a short time. I'm not trying to absolve her, because it does have all the earmarks of a scam, but possibly not. If she has volunteered to have an abortion I would gladly pay for that as it will clear up all doubts.

And do get tested yourself.

Have her send you an email stating that she is pregnant by you. If she won't do it then tell her no money.

IF she sends the email tell her one of your friends in Udon will meet her and she has to take the pregnancy test. Tell her
if she is pregnant you will send the money but if she isn't pregnant her email, place of employ, identity, etc. etc. will be given to the police as she is committing fraud.

She'll back off as it's a scam and problem solved.

I have read this with open mouth and cannot believe what is happening here!

Maths: those who advise you are worth nothing as they can't calculate. If you stay with a girl long time you pay 2K baht per day/night. I didn't find out how many days you stayed with her with free sex from her side, but if 10 days you saved 20K baht investment. You say yourself no money changed hands so she was not looking for your money as if so you would have bought shoes, handbag, gold or other luxury stuff. She didn't get that, she got nothing except a place to sleep and get laid each day! Now she asks for 6K baht and you wonder if she is a scam? Never read the stories of guys who were scammed? Not for 6K but for a substantially larger sum of money.

Accidents: How old are you? 16/17? I don't think so. Is it then so difficult to refrain from possibly expensive mistakes or accidents? Don't forget it's you who is responsible. The condom is supposed to be and stay around YOUR dick and if not YOU are responsible for that! Result of accidents could very well be pregnancy. And yes, she can detect it in a very early stage.

My advice: get the heck to Western Union and pay the lousy 6K and don't run away for your responsability! She said it is for sorting out, meaning abortion? Then there is no follow up as she won't be pregnant after that right? If she wants to keep your baby you can play being interested and ask her to send photos of her growing belly, promise her you come over about 2 weeks before delivery of the baby. If she scams you will soon find out, if it's your baby you will also find out soon and pay a lot more money for the years to come. You accepted free sex, made mistakes and now you're asked to pay 6K baht to end the whole story! Or don't pay and take the gamble she's carrying your baby. Worth it?

BTW Get a HIV test 3 months after the last sexual contact, just to be sure!

Look you took a girl from a bar, cashier or not, you should have paid the fee's associated with the services. I hear the same old story from heaps of guys " I met her in a bar but she didn't want any money from me"..why because you're so handsome...so interesting...best lover she's ever had??? Get over your ego brother. Maybe she didn't ask and you were to tight to offer but fact of the matter is that's where she earns her income and she lost money the month she was with you. 6000 baht is nothing for a month of fun. pregnant or not doesn't matter.

I still stick with my gut feeling that this is a scam, but the difference with my encounter was that I did indeed pay the girl the daily rate, as well as feed and entertain her for the time together, so no way was I going to cough up money.
I'm against these girls using our western morals against us to get cash from us, and have the opinion that to give in just encourages the other girls to embark on this scam themselves.
Having said that, I take note what grievous says -

Maybe in this case I would pay the 6K, saves her face if it is really payment for her time that she's trying to get, or, sorts out the abortion fees plus a bit extra for her discomfort, but if a repeat request for cash comes in then time to change your email account, mobile number etc.

I'm tempted to pay and then thats the end of that, my own stupid fault for getting carried away without reaching for the rubber. God knows if I'll show my face in UT again, a wisened old expat at Nutty Park told me I should always f**k and forget,

despite his jibes in this thread I think Mash is secretly chubby chaser but he doesn't want to own up to it, he'd rather be seen in public riding the back of Mr Tong.

Something else: did you guys (OP and posters) thought of this? The girl works in a bar, earning money by having drinks from customers and going with them for money (usually). In all cases one is obliged to pay a bar fine to the mamasan of the bar, usually around 300 baht. Is it possible that when this girl came back to the bar she got terrible problems with mamasan because she didn't give her the bar fine for x number of days? If 10 days: 3K baht, if 20 days: 6K baht.
Even if the girl is not pregnant could it be that she is asking now for the bar fines to pay, as the mamasan will take it from her to earn money? Think of it, she didn't earn money, on top she has to pay the bar fine money! Possible?
