Anyone know this place

On my last visit to Udon we had a lovely evening at a Thai restaurant but I can't remember the name or how to get there.
It was on the ring road, large parking lot with security man, large outside and inside seating with a lake out the back. Mostly Thai patrons. I think some of the waitresses were wearing the little Tiger or Heineken outfits.
Ring a bell with anyone?

I can't remember the name, but I think I know the place you mean, it's just about opposite the original Tesco Lotus.
On the ring road, near the Nong Khai road. On saying that, there are a few of theses type of places around the ring road.
enjoy.

Sabaidee_mike – could this be the Thai restaurant you are thinking about?

The web site is in Thai but contains several photos that may bring back your memory. Cheers.

Not the place, but there is a nice Thai outside restaurant on ring road at the bend, just before "Soul Place" (Harry's Bar) which opens after 5PM, large parking lot with security man, and has live music, usually starts with a single guitar/singer and later a 5 piece band. Some english songs. Think the owner is a foreigner and wife.

Good food and good selection, large Leo around 60 baht. A couple of maybe Tiger Girls, easy on the eyes, who seem to chat with lone patrons. Just might be a good place to practice ones thai.

Think there was a review of the place a long time back.

Might be one of the many places that back onto Nong Bua Lake on the ring road.
The place across the road from Tesco's don't have beer girls.
The only places I have seen with beer girls, is a couple of sing song bars on Superchaniya Road, with Nong Prajak Park over the road.

Ok. I'll do a tour of all the places mentioned above. Pretty sure it was on the same stretch of road as Tescos. So I'll start there. Even if I don't find it, you've given me some good recommendations. Thanks!

Head out of Udon towards Big C,turn left a the intersection at Big C onto the ring road,it's about 1 or 2 klms down there.
I was there Xmas day last year, and it's quite a nice place, even though not a lot of farang food to choose from
