At what is currently known as "Oh Yeah" bar in day & night. I believe Bob is the new team captain (ex Irish Clock team).

Nikothai, I've had a word with 50/50 team, and they currently have a full roster of players, but if you would like to play this season for someone else, send me a PM with your requirements and I'll try to find you a spot on another team

Fixtures for week 3 (Sept 6th)

Fifty-fifty v Cavern
Papars v City Lodge
Jingjoes v Clareman
The Retreat v Honey
Irish Clock v Kinneree
White Box v Liberty
Honey Box v M & M

A couple of things that can be interpreted in different ways have come to light this season.

Firstly, You CANNOT have "ball in hand" on the black ball if that is the only remaining ball on the table. Regardless of what foul shot has been played, if the black is the only ball left then the game is over.

Secondly, The guidelines clearly state:-

IF A TEAM CONSISTS OF 6 PLAYERS, FOUR PLAY SINGLES AND THE REMAINING TWO PLAY ALL THE DOUBLES MATCHES. IF 5 PLAYERS, THE FIFTH PLAYER PLAYS ALL THE DOUBLES, AND THE OTHER PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED A MAXIMUM OF ONE DOUBLES MATCH, NOT THE BEST PLAYER PLAY IN TWO OR ALL DOUBLES MATCHES.
NO PLAYER CAN PLAY MORE THAN 3 SINGLES AND TWO DOUBLES IN ANY MATCH.

If a player has contacted his captain to say he will arrive late, it is, AT THE DISCRETION of the opposing captain as to whether he will be allowed to play in the singles (by possibly re-scheduling the frame order) or allowed to play in the remaining doubles matches. I am sure that most, if not all, captains will be fairly lenient providing that it is a genuine reason for being late.

Hope this clears up these points.

I have been contacted by Toto at the Honey Bar, who has asked me to let everyone know that from next week onwards the Honey Bar Team will be playing their Home fixtures at his new bar "Nemo", which is the last bar (outside) on the left hand side at the end of the Day and Night Complex.

(I suppose that Captain Nemo only has 79,999 leagues to inform now :-" )

I'm sure that all the players would like to join me in wishing Toto every success with his new bar :drunk: :guiness: :guiness: :guiness: :drunk:

Everyone has been commenting on "The Englishman's Retreat" strip/shirt, we do look professional and since wearing it we've really up'd our game (sarcasm!!), but if anyone is interested in doing something similar, the screen print box for the rear was 250bt to set up and 30bt per T-shirt, if you pay another 100bt the box is yours for ever and when ever you need more shirts it's just 30bt per shirt, my front logo I created myself, it has to be reduced to just 9 colours for the embroiding machines, I'm not sure if there are more colour able systems, but my guy is good and cheap, he charged 250bt for the setup (this stays on his computer - so no further charge) and 30bt per T-shirt, plain T-shirts are in abundance for 100bt or less, so everyone is kitted out for 160bt. If you want my front logo with your bar written on it let me know, it'll take me 2 mins and I'll email it to you (yes for free)

Here's the front Logo, as I say I can put your bar on there and email it straight to you, if you want directions to the print companies let me know, but I'm sure there are many around Udon.

Have to agree Glyn the guys do look smart. This seems to be the way forward after the "A Beer too far" team was kitted out a couple of years ago and Honey bar last year.
I'll have too look through the rules to see if offering a "flash tee shirt" as a signing on fee is covered in the "tapping up" players regulations

Do your players have to wash their own shirts?
Could be interesting if they have to take the shirt off and hand it back for washing at the end of each match, especially if you get some female players :-k :-"

Nice one Glyn. Good idea and looks very smart. All The Irish Clock players now have a team t-shirt. Maybe it's a "bottom of the league" thing. :D

Yes looks smart ive always had the opinion that pool was pool but some teams are using snookers a bit more then they need too especially when the opposing team is on the end of a good beating, and also certain team members shouting during the game. Not only is this bad games man ship but it is no help when someone is concentrating.

As you yourself said Vlad "i've always had the opinion that pool was pool".
Snooker is played in nice quiet snooker halls and pool, by it's very nature, is played in crowded noisy bars.
I doubt there is one bar owner who is going to throw a customer out because he made a noise whilst someone was lining up a shot.
It's supposed to be a "friendly" league, where people can enjoy a game of pool on a Tuesday night whilst meeting up with old friends and enjoying a beer ....... please please guys lets try to keep it that way

Mate really now I'm in the middle of my dinner!!

I think it should be a strictly self wash policy, that's about once a yr for some of the players (I'm not mentioning any names mind:)
