Yep tried today, told Namwan(Sweet water) I saw her on the map, she was over the moon, more so when I left 3 hrs later as by then she had three from her ad . Can really recommend this place, its air conditioned , spotlessly clean and a gentle atmosphere.Only the sound of running water from a fountain and soft typical Thai traditional music in the background, no blaring TV $\:D/$ Its located at the top end of the road towards the lights where you turn left to Home Pro so ample parking. I had a 130bht foot massage, comfortable modern chair and a competent masseuse.My wife went for a body massage first ,which the boss herself did and then treated herself to the 550bht Herbal sauna /body spa, three hours in all .She described the whole experience as marvelous, and will certainly be going back again, as I will .As I had to wait quite a long while for my wife to finish the boss even sent her daughter out to get me a beer .

It really doesn't come any better .Just a heads up though. No extra services are available so don't embarrass yourself or the staff by asking

So what's wrong - the map shown above or your description? According to the map it's far away from the ring road crossing.

Not being a cartographer I am unable to draw you a map. All I was saying is that it is further down the road and on the opposite side than it looks on the illustration. Why not go down and look for yourself.?

No sorry to disappoint you, now I am a happily married man it is not my cup of tea.. I actually listened to the boss talking to my wife about a Farang who had come in the day before the ad appeared on the map , so hopefully not a member, who insisted on showing all during an oil massage, declined a towel to cover it and then asked the girl whats she going to do with it. Fortunately the masseuse had the sense to call her boss who kicked him out .

Sorry, but I do not find a statement in your post that the map location info is wrong.

Easy enough to find. Easy parking on the street. I visited for a thai massage today. Very pleasant massage w/ great surroundings and will definitely be a regular customer.

I too think it would be nice if the spot on the map were accurate, so we that are thousands of miles away and less used to Udon geography can find shops easier

when in Udon on family visits.
I am not real good at finding my way around

and per experience if I ask a thai which way to take, he will happily point me in some direction that many times are completely misleading.

I am a big fan of google earth for cartography, but not so easy to paste screenshots into Udonmap posts.

But from looking at google earth:
Is it so that the Nam Wan shop is down the Soi Nong Bua, almost to the intersection with the ring road 216.
And that it is on the southern side of Soi Nong Bua, not the northern side ?

It sounds like the service is fine, and I don't want any happy endings either.

Trubritt, thx for advice on herbal massage etc, I think my wife and I will enjoy that - or I a beer on the porch $\:D/$

Well my lady and I rode our harley from Hua Hin to Udon yesterday and I was in need of a good massage and went to Nam Wan. I told the girls about my stiff back and neck and Nam herself gave an absolutely fantastic massage, it was not gentle and she really worked out the kinks. I will definately be back and really recommend them.

I suffer with sporadic back pain and have visited swett water myself ,,, cracking massage , lady called Rin did me , very strong hands similar to that of a steel erector NOT that ive ever been massaged by a steel erector that is!!

Really it is very nice place. I enjoyed that too much and i wish to have an other chance to be there for body massage that make to so relax calm and mentally rest. Due to body massage your body and soul feel so good. So, dont miss if you got chance to massage.

Are the girls who work there very skilled? in other words do they know a lot about the human body or is it more a relaxing massage?
I need a calf (and foot) massage to remove some triggerpoints which are not easy to find...
Is Nam Wan up to that or do i better search for a more therapeutic massage?

Yes Nam has real power, but be warned she is not gentle! All the girls are professional and surprisingly strong but if you like there is a kind of league table of power! Nam is number i but also Nit and Jayne have serious power when needed. It will help!
