what has my wife got me into ? she bought some land

Ok chaps
Back in the land of the freezing cold
So here is the whole story now
She did buy a plot of land I have seen the land deed and it has been transferred over to her name with the red seal etc etc
She was a bit upset that the land office charged her a fee that they worked out not what she thought she had to pay
They also gave her a very hard time kept asking her if she was married to a foreigner she told them she had a foreign boyfriend but was single
As far as I can understand it and some of you can probably better explain it the wife borrowed money off dads government pension fund which she intends to pay back at a rate agreed between them
As promised the plot of land is a little goldmine it’s in an area about 10-15km north of udorn on the road to nong khai
There is two undeveloped plots one a rice paddy and the other the plot my wife bought all around this area are Thais with some money mostly government officials teachers doctor types professionals no foreigners as yet
so the deal is legit the land assuming nothing wrong with it is ok and it looks like it’s a good investment what I don’t understand is why the aunt didn’t sell the plot herself as she’s pretty poor herself knowing how greedy Thais can be I don’t understand why she didn’t take the 350,000 baht offers that my wife is now receiving from property developers?
So all in all she did a smart thing but I’m a bit annoyed that after we agreed not to buy land yet she went behind my back to buy it
