At ฿35 a donut they are not flying off the refrigerator shelve. They are flown in from BKK so there is no sign "hot" Maybe this a prelude to a shop at Central.

Well, in my humble opinion, this makes them no better than any other store bought pastry. What made them famous was their freshness and melt in your mouth taste. Too bad. Hope the franchise fee wasn't exorbitant!

The price of Krispy Kreme donuts is my locale is 6 Saudi Arabian Riyals or 48 baht a pop and they are also flown in from Jeddah, however. I know where I'd like to eat mine.

I was in ud town today, couldn't find any. Is it a Krispy Kreme store or sold inside another shop?

Not a store, was in a stall. May have only been sold for a limited time to get a feel for product sales.

When I saw that Krispy Kreme stall, I thought it was a fake. Krispy Kreme franchises are tightly controlled (and expensive), similar to McDonalds.

If that stall were for real, than I'd expect there to be a large Krispy Kreme restaurant in Udon, to supply the doughnuts. But is there one?

I checked the Krispy Kreme Thailand website ( http://www.krispykreme.co.th ), but didn't see a list of official locations. Maybe someone else could peruse that website to find the list of locations in Thailand.

When I googled for "Krispy Kreme Udon", the only results were UdonMap.com posts in this thread!

I think we need a crafty Krispy Kreme investigator to get to the bottom of this;-)

I believe the only official Krispy Kreme store is at the Siam Paragon in Bangkok. According to the Nation they have plans to open 20 more stores in Thailand but only Bangkok is mentioned in the report. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2011/02 ... 49031.html
