Solo First Timer

Hi,
I'll be in Udon Thani until 19th. Since im a first timer could anyone give me some tips to enjoy town?

and also,

What if i couldn't pass the alcohol test with bike? For those gonna say do not drink and ride, im talking about just 1 or 2 singhas.

Should i stay in town or take off and explore nearby beatuies? If so, do you think that its safe to ride for example Phu Phra Bat Historical Park? I've been told its around an hour to get there by car.

and it would be delightfully nice if you suggest any must do's

if you are a single solo guy, maybe stay in the entertainment area? Soi sampanit
there are 2 entertainment areas day & night and nutty park
no need to ride to these places, walking distance

as for riding a bike far, thats up to you?
be careful of riding in the city, not as bad as BKK though, it is a little radical here on a bike sometimes......be most careful when doing a right turn, look for bikes that will try to overtake you, while you turn (look behind first).

enjoy your first trip 8)

HI Solo! I guess you hiring a bike.Make sure you ALWAYS wear a Helmet!
Not only the cops nab you(They are out and about most days check points) But There are many loonies wear side blinkers.
Beware left hand road exits. Nobody looks right...they just head straight out!
Also when traffic lights go green .There will always be a few jump the lights!
If you get involved in a accident It will be your fault!n TIT!
If you horny bugger like me, The arcade in Soi Sampan, full of lovelies.Just waiting earn some money.(they tell me)
Or if you like a rough and tumble. Try Soi 2!( they tell me) real cheap!
But Solo,BE CAREFUL Here many tell fibs .Its a habit ;)
Have great time
