I would LOVE to use them for incoming parcels, as well, but Thai Customs is too brutal. :(

I have found that from U.S. DHL is great for sending important documents to Thailand, with a local office in Udon I expect even better service and tracking.

Recently ordered stuff from the U.S using DHL ........ 2 days from America to Udonthani GREAT then 3 days to travel the 15 minutes from the agent to Nong Sim lake and even then i had to send my missus to collect it as quote " they didnt have a car " ........... lets hope things improve at this end at least.

Agree on documents! Thai Customs has a tough time getting their hooks into you on those, but they try.

If you don't mind telling me, what was the size of the package and, in general, what did it contain? I'm only asking because you didn't mention customs fees or a VAT. Curious to know if things might be changing at Thai Customs at Swampy.

Rico , i ordered the product via a US catering supplies company , single box approx 18/20 inches square , the tax/duty was paid in advance by the agent and as i said all was fine till it got to Udon ,,,,,,,,dam annoying as it was 15 minutes from the shop on the ring rd and we still had to go and collect it after 3 days of "solly no have car' when a door to door service was paid for.

That explains it. Thanks. I was getting encouraged. :(
