udon evenings

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum but I'm going to udon thani for a little while after I travel with girlfriend around first. Are there any usual get togethers with other foreigners and their thai girlfriend or spouse?

Would like to meet several to make new friendships.

Just head to the Irish clock or Aussie hamburger bar always people there with there wife or girlfriend.

A Belgium man and his wife own a Bar in Nutty park. Perhaps they can introduce you to some others.

Hey folks, me and the other half are heading to Udon Thani (from Australia) in October. Would appreciate any recommendations for a Hotel and info on night life. I'm no longer a wild party animal, so just looking for a relaxing time. Still enjoy a few beers though. I am spending a bit of time on this site, but struggling to decide. Appreciate your suggestions

I really depends on what price class you want, e.g. high class use Prajacktra design hotel, it has a very beautifull view over Nong Prajack Park, Ban Channg i the mid town, good hotel, own pool and the Udorn Hotel and SiriGrand hotel, are also good hotels very close to center (medium to low price350-600bht) Udon has many hotels the easyist way is to Googl'em.
