This happened to me 3 months ago. Like I said I had the documents from the bank showing the transfer from Canada to Thailand Bank of Ayudyha and all receipts paid from that bank to pay for my house. This seems to be a creepy story - i can guaranty that could not happen in the office at Homeproo...i was transfer money from there whit out any questions last week. If this helps. I transferred a large sum of money from my Bangkok Bank account to my U.S. bank. The restrictions were that I could not transfer more than $10,000 per transaction and not more than $10,000 per day. So I made tranactions of S9500 per day over several days.

Thank You for your offer to help but I already have moved the money to Canada another way, albeit at more cost and trouble to me. The first reason was seeing my papers showing the transfer to Thailand which I showed them, the second reason was wanting to see my building contract for my house which I showed them. The third reason was I had leased my land from a different company then the company who had built my house. Sounds crazy but this all true. Can't be repeated too much. Rent for a year or two so you know the lay of the land, then buy, as long as that agrees with your long range plans. Anybody who rents for more than 3 or 4 years is making a big mistake.
