Guys, Just looking at cnn: http://edition.cnn.com/2013/01/01/us/me ... index.html. They'll be a meteor shower best visible in N. America Thursday just before sunrise.
I wonder if it'll be visible in Udon and when. Anybody know? And did you know- I've only heard- there's a planetarium in Udon behind the library somewhere?

I understand that to get the best view it is necessary to get right out of town as all the artificial lights interfere with the view.
One of the local national parks used to have people camping out at night, on the top of the 'mountain', for the best view available. Quite popular with the locals I believe, maybe one of the other members can remember which & where!!
