things must have changed quite a bit since i was in the u.k my shoes were size 11
and i thought they were big enough , whats this size 46 all about ? they must be the
size of small boats . have we gone all euro ?

Its a trip to Bangkok for a better choice of men's footwear and in size 46/11.
Same with clothes. Remember its not that long ago everyone here wore flip flops.

For shopping, Udon Thani is still all fur coat and no knickers. Quite a few of my Thai friends fly down to Bangkok for shopping, taking advantage of those cheap deals the airlines sometimes have.

What places do people recommend in Bangers for bigguys?

Pratunam? Baiyoke Tower?

Robinsons? Central? More stock than here, I imagine?

Any tips on cheaper places for XXL chaps (and spurs)?

Siam Paragon Mall in BKK has it all. One trip there a year keeps things rolling at my house.

While you're there, get phone numbers from your favorite shops and order if you run short of something. Works fine for me.

if you go to the sport shops in central mall udon thani they can order bigger sizes for you. I wear size 13(US) and they ordered for me
