Roasting Pan
Any ideas where to find a good roasting pan. Preferably anodised and big enough for a leg of lamb and vegies. Would want to be about 35 - 40 cm long by 25-30 cm wide and 50 cm high. My cravings for roast lamb have got the better of me.

Villa market has them

Thanks parrot. Looked today but 1550 baht for teflon coated crap. Fortunately, after the power came back on, found some alfoil disposable roasting pans for 50 baht each. Will do until I do another trip to Aust.

You can always look at Index Living. I know they are expensive but I have found bargains there a few times.

Thanks for the responses. Have now had my roast lamb fix and will be ok for another year or so. The disposable aluminium roasting pan was perfect and with a couple of extra layers of aluminium foil in the bottom will be able to reuse sometime in the future.

Did you find the disposable aluminum roasting pan at Villa or somewhere else? I may need to pick one up in the future......50 baht's a whole lot cheaper than 1500!
Thanks for the feedback.

Yes parrot. In Villa very close to the 1500 baht ones. Two for 99 baht from memory and I took 4, think there were still 4 left.

They still had them yesterday. They also had some of the old fashioned ceramic coated roasting pans with the lid. What would be called turkey roasters or something like that in the States, though they were pretty small for a turkey. It looked like they had small and medium, but no large. I remember my mom baking hams (in the larger types that Villa did not have) in them when I was a kid. Sorry, I did not think to get a price on them.
