With any luck, this baby will drop down south just a bit and replenish Huay Luang Reservoir for another year.

Don't really understand the lack of water in the dams, we have been waterlogged since July but fortunately only minor flooding. Had the same as 747 yesterday and hoping Usagi stays well clear of Udon, we got enough.

Simple reason we are flat, and down hill.

Well, it appears to be that Usagi will be a bust. Looks like it will get nowhere close to us, or will be so weakened by the time it does that it will just be windy. :(

Took a relaxing outdoor shower admiring the reds of sunset against the landscaping, and just before I stepped indoors, 2drops that I thought were from birds.......a half minute later out of nowhere (NW) it started raining in sheets. That was over an hour ago and it's still coming down in sheets. And to drive the point home, our power just went off.

Nice to see that the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority has now said that there will not be any SERIOUS flood problems this year due to the high tide not being at the same time as the major rainfall/run offs .

Now there's a bit of excellent forward planning =D>
Who said building those extra spirit houses would not be the answer =; :-"

There's a tropical storm headed toward Vietnam.....and later through Vientienne area. Might provide some rain to Udon (needed or not) in the coming days.

Today's Joint Typhoon Warning Center graphic (http://jtwccdn.appspot.com/JTWC/) shows the same plot as yours, kb, with 45knot winds on Tuesday. Might not be a good day for an outdoor picnic....45 not winds or knot.
