Hawthorn -v- Fremantle, kick off 11.30am Thai time. The bar will be open at 10.00am and finger food will be provided throughout the day.
RUGBY. South Africa -v- Australia at 10pm Saturday.
Its going to be a long day for the girls, but they are up to it and will enjoy the games and ---- stirring as well. Ice cold piss is always available.

AFL Grand Final (Harks vs. Freo) harpo (who is a Geelong fan) is tipping Fremantle in a close hard fought game by 7 points....not sure about the NRL Final, as I have not a glue on that code of Footy.....Back to the AFL, see Gary Abblet Jnr from the Sunshine Suns in Queensland, won his second Brownlow Medal (fairest & best) last night by one vote, good for him I say....must be close to legion status like his farther, the great No. 5 Gary Ableeeeet.....cheers harpo.... go the mighty Cats in 2014...

Thanks Harpo, I hope you enjoy it at your favourite watering hole mate. This weekend is great for aussie sports, no matter what code, be it AFL, NRL and Rugby. Most customers at the bar are hoping for the Dockers to knock off the Hawks, including some Victorian punters and the Rabbits to knock off the Sea Eagles. I cannot see the Knights bowling over the Roosters. At the end of the day, you gotta take your hat off to all teams, they made it to the finals.
On a sadder note and different sport, just really bad luck for the Kiwis in the Americas Cup, what a let down for them.

Well the bar was full again on Friday with most going for the Rabbitohs, what a display by the Sea Eagles. At full time we had to hide the knives so the Rabbitohs crowd could not slit their wrists. Next year Rabbitohs...maybe.
Saturday was the day when the bar seen different footy codes justling around. First up at 11.30am the AFL G/F, good crowd turned up to watch the Hawks grab the cup, the Dockers lost the game, Hawks did not win it, too many mistakes by the Dockers. After that game some supporters moved on, but a lot stayed to watch the Roosters/Knights game at 5pm. The Knights were never in it, the Roosters will be the grand finals winner for 2013.
Some of the crowd stayed and some moved on, maybe they wanted to drown their sorrows or keep munching on the free bacon/egg burgers, hot dogs or hamburgers...we went through a lot of food.
At 10pm some of the original 11.30am and 5pm starters were still there, and we got another lot in for the South Africa/Australia rugby game and the usual stirring was still underway and as predicted the Aussies lost.
The lucky door prize of a bottle of Jack Daniels was taken out by a Pom and the 2nd prize of a box of San Mig was taken by a Kiwi, Australia lost out again. Today the local booze supplier will be getting a big order to replenish bar stock consumed over the last couple of days.
Its going to be a relaxing day at the bar today, well we think. We only have the Dutch football and MotoGP showing. The girls did a fantastic job Friday and Saturday, wouldnt trade them for all the tea in China. Mrbeerlao, Matt I hope you have a great fundraiser on the 16th. I will be passing the word around in the bar, we get a lot of Goldcoasters in the joint.

NRL G/Final, Aussie Meat Pies at Aussie Burger Bar,Nutty Par
We have hooked up with someone who can make a few different types of meat pies and they are close as you can get to the pies back in OZ or NZ. They are the best I have had in Udon and they will be available as give aways for the coming NRL grand final.
The give aways will be between the standard size pie and our party pies, hopefully he can do sausage rolls like back home as well and samples will be given away, so first in first served as only 100 pies will be on offer. Hopefully the normal size will be on the menu shortly as well as sausage rolls.

This Sunday the F1 coverage starts at 12.45pm and race at 1pm from Korea, Thai times. A little bit of free finger food will be available.
After that the Rugby League Grand Final, Manly -v- Sydney. Mini burgers, pies and hot dogs roll out about 30 mins before the kick off and will continue throughout the game. I am hoping the Sydney Roosters get up.

This is a new one for me and maybe for a lot of other followers of rugby league. I just re-checked the kick off time for Sunday and it is 3.15pm KICK OFF Thai time. Usually its on the hour, not this year. So wherever your watching the game keep this new time in mind and enjoy the match.
If you get to my bar at 7am on Sunday, you will not to miss it.
