New Home for me

Post by BobHelm » November 1, 2006, 1:14 pm

Well, I have finally moved into my home.
Some outside decorating still going on, garden is a builders site & wall not still not started yet - but all things that do not worry me over much.

The doors are wide, but not for me - I am down to a neat 75 kilo - all the worry I suppose :D
Horror stories??? Not really the builder/designer was excellent, but over ran time by about 3 months - well this is Thailand & maybe he was always talking about 5 Thai months, not Falang months..... :D

Ah, sorry, have had the Thai moving in party - but it is always open house, so any time anyone is nearby drop in for sure...Image

Oh, & I have about 200 pics of every stage of the construction - if anyone wants to buy the CD.... :D

Good Luck Bob,

Like the house and the details the builder has added, now the fun starts with the landscaping and garden.
I would get locks and grills for all those windows.

Thanks Sean, it is actually much better home than I thought it would be. The way it looks is all down to the builder, not me or she. I was in the UK when they painted it for the first time & the better half tells me on the phone that it is blue, pink and smokey white. I say Oh, and think :censored: hell. But when I saw it I could see that it really works.
Screens & window bars are being worked on at the moment.
Wall has been paid for & material is here but if I see one before the New Year then I will be happy :D
Landscaping is certainly a very long term project - nearly everything I touch that grows dies very quickly :D
