House insurances arent all that easy sometimes

My house is in my company name and I live in it as an individual.

No Thai company will insure it commercially and allow me to insure the contents as a personal policy.

They will insure it as a commercial property , but wont allow personal effects .

BUT if I was to rent this from a 3rd party company, it would be possible to insure the contents personally, and the 3rd party company have their policy on the building etc

But as soon as an expat is involved , it throws them into a spin. I rented before and was ablew to insure my personal effects , but as Im told , It was a Thai landlord

I offered to formally sign a rental agreement, with the company, but conflict of interest ..

Not quite sure who told you this but not true, we can insure your property and even offer Tennant Liability as an option on the policy.
