The beer that was squirreled away in anticipation of the tax hike is starting to rear its ugly head.

In the "new" Big C (near the airport) today, their entire stock of large Leo bottles was dated end July/early August. The boxes were all very tatty, so the storage conditions had not been great.

Buyer Beware!

Fortunately the old Tesco (new) express had plenty dated 7 November - all in pristine cartons. =D>

I fact, I am about to rip the top off a cold one right now.

too right,leo has only a 6 week shelf life,then its rank,rancid.just plain nasty. when i had a bar if they sent back if they were older than 3 week.beer has to be stored in the correct conditions

But Bacardi also now price increased 200b per litre! That will come out to roughly 10b per drink, depending on your pour.

I notice Chang Classic has been adjusted to 630ml and ALC to 6% this should technically allow for it to still sell at the same price, but as this is Thailand we have no chance.
