Unlock Mobile

Are there any shops at he Robinson mall that can unlock the simcard , same have at MBK at bangkok ? Thanks.

yes tons of them in the Charonsi Shopping Complex (same one as Robinsons Department store)

Did u mean unlock the phone or you really meant the sim card ?
I thought sim cards were unlocked via a special number obtained from the network provider after verifying your identity?

I have had phones unlocked in the complex and only one has proved elusive to date - an O2 phone i brought from the UK. Apparently no software available to do it here - even after they looked on the internet

Yea, I mean unlock the mobile, so I can use local simcards (Dtac,AIS).
At mbk, it's usually cost 150-200 Baht.

No problem there then - many places will unlock your phone.
The cost depends on the phone and the complexity but will be comparable with Bkk.
