Second batch of pulled pork came out of crock pot this morning. Normally this process calls for shredding the meat with 2 forks, hence the name "pulled" pork. However, this stuff was falling apart as it was picked up with the tongs. It's THAT TENDER!
One of our regulars just left after having the pork sandwich and cole slaw and his free cup of eggnog. He ordered a second eggnog because he said it was so much better than any eggnog that he purchased from a market in America. I think maybe he forgot that commercially available eggnog from the market is not loaded with premium Bourbon.
Well, this being Thailand, our plans for Christmas have changed. TW now has decided it's too cold to go to Chiang Khan as we had planned. Now we'll be OPEN on Christmas day and serving a simple Christmas meal consisting of smoked ham, green bean casserole, 3 cheese macaroni casserole, a soft roll, and Kahlua brownie for dessert. All for 295 baht INCLUDING your choice of ANY drink the house serves. Nothing is excluded. You can have anything from Gentleman Jack Daniels, Belgian or domestic beer, wine, to water. So, if you're not already locked into another place with a firm reservation, consider coming in to our place. No reservation necessary.
