The hype is at fever pitch. The official line (at the moment) has Denver by 2.5 and the over/under at 48. Some say that some big money from the Seattle area has yet to drop, and that could change things. The gambling line has nothing to do with real probability of who'll win. Weather seems NOT to be an issue, cold yes, but no blizzard in the forecast. Here's an interesting read on the money playing aspects:

Then there's the sports journalists point of view. NFL.com's Michael Silver Says it will be Seattle 34, Denver 27. Six other journalists also pick Seattle to win, 3 pick Denver:

My take... it's going to be a helluva game. I do think the best 2 teams for this year are playing. Just hope it's close, to make it interesting, and nobody sustains a career ending injury.

Yesterday I managed my first visit to Bubba's. Took the family and had lunch

It certainly won't be my last visit, so if you haven't been there I recommend that you give it a try

Specials on a Word document posted on the previous page. What I forgot to put on there was home made sausage gravy over biscuit will be available early (120b). That's not a regular menu item for us, although we do serve it quite frequently.

Open 5:45AM. Kick Off is 6:30.

Three TV's up, so not a bad seat in the house. Indoor AND outdoor viewing. We will close no later than 3PM (leaving for Bangkok early Tuesday AM). Jun has plenty of extra help coming.

Today, Sunday, no alcohol available due to elections. Let's hope things don't get too crazy in Bangkok.

Closing today at 7PM to get everything ready for tomorrow.

One terrible game, esp. if you, like me, are a Denver fan. On the other hand the food and fun was great. Hard to believe I ran into somebody with roots in my home town. Just goes to show all the smart people get the hell out of SE Texass....lol. Thanks Bubba, Jun and all the staff.

We're back from Pathum Thani Province. Jun's sister came home from the hospital yesterday after delivering a baby boy by C-section. Baby remains in hospital a few more days for observation.

Much to do today to get ready for reopening tomorrow. We left the place in quite a mess after the big Super Bowl party.

C-Section again!! Seems like the Thai Docs are getting like their American counterparts and doing C-Sections as a time saver.. Scheduled deliveries!
