I'm looking for an old beetle, pretty much in any condition as long as it runs.

The ad at the link below is from Udon, from Feb 2014.
69 model, 85,000 Baht. Supposedly belonged to the grandparents but had hardly ever been driven. Phone number as shown at the link.

Interesting that Thais use the word เต่า to refer to the beetle. เต่า means turtle.

Theres a VW place just before index on the ring road, at least a couple of old beetles and a tidy looking camper in the yard.
I havent been in i just noticed it today as i was on my way to the airport, might be worth a look

I know of an Index on the east side ring road, around Home Pro ect.
Is that the one your talking about or is there another Index on the west side??

Dont know if its been mentioned already but I called in a small place today as it caught my eye ... located on the Eastern side of the ring road same stretch , side as Index /Homepro tho a bit nearer to the Bung Mai Hom restaraunt ... some cracking VW's 5 immaculate cars all early years ,, but more interestingly imo 3 VW camper vans one just back from a customer test drive .. cant remember the name but they sell coffee as well and its "something " coffee Viking or similar .

Any way a nice spot to spend an hour looking round .
