If he looses his appeal Wazza they will definitely up the ban. Thats the gamble of an appeal, only if you have a 100% chance of winning will you appeal.

Let's focus on the present and America's advancement...Portugal 1 nil now on Ghana's own goal! :D

Klinsman knows what he's doing...playing for a draw...working so far.

Perhaps England could benefit from a foreigner coach...foreigners rule the EPL, afterall.

So if u appeal ur sentence is increased based on the appeal rejected ??

So he pleaded not guilty and was found guilty and got the sentence or has FIFA found him guilty sentenced him and its up to his appeal team.

Sounds like a kangaroo court .

And if England loses to Iceland, which is more likely, what happens?
We make our world significant by the courage of our questions and by the depths of our answers.

EEERRRR RE-THINK what???????????????????

USA marches on, baby.

Re-think what? Are you saying England couldn't benefit from a better coach, regardless of his/her nationality, or are you saying England sucks so bad the coach doesn't matter? Just curious...go USA!!!!!!!!!

Too lenient in my view. The fine was 65,680 UK Pounds. Pocket money to him.

Last nights results.....
USA 0 Germany 1.......Germany dominated for most of this match but had to wait until the 55th minute for Thomas Muller to score the winner. But the consolation for the USA is that they qualify for the knockout stages along with the Germans.
Portugal 2 Ghana 1.....Cristiano Ronaldo's winner not enough to save the Portugese from the exit.
South Korea 0 Belgium 1....Korea dominated possession, overall, but apart from one effort that hit the bar they hardly troubled the Belgians.Vertonghens 77th minute winner made it 3 wins out of 3 for the resilient 10 man Belgians.
Algeria 1 Russia 1....the Russians are out but a bit of controversy as it was claimed that a laser was pointed at the Russian keepers face which prevented him from saving the goal that sent them out.

A night off from the action tonight,so maybe time for an early night for the flagging farangs, but all starts again on Saturday.Kick offs Thai times.

Brazil v Chile,11pm Saturday night.
Colombia v Uruguay,3am Sunday morning.

I predict it will be a couple of South American teams that progress to the Quarter Finals. ;)
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

And not forgetting Colombia, and their sexy girl fans, are from South America, too, socksy ! :D

If pressed for a true prediction I would say Brazil and Colombia will go through.Hope its Chile but a feeling the hosts up against a smaller South American country, can feel a dodgy penalty/dodgy red card or two coming up ! 8)

If I didn't know better, I might suggest that's Zid's unbelievable ability to spot South American totty (and then identify them !!) has come from a life spent studying the species in the East London strip joints :-k

If he appeals, it can ONLY be against the fine, there is NO APPEAL against the ban under Article 22 .

Not sure if you are entirely correct Statts?
My interpretation/understandig. FIFA were faced with the option of pursuing one of two choices:
(i)The referee missed a Red Card offence. and impose the maximum penalty, under this procedure, of a three match ban and a three month suspension, effective immediately with no appeal option. A procedure ABSOLUTELY ensuring the immediate dismissal of Suarez from this World Cup.
(ii)Proceed under any one of several , (complicted), powers enabling the imposition of virtually any penalty FIFA chose to impose both monetary and football wise; even a life ban. BUT, under this procedure Suarez DOES have the option of apppealing. Such an appeal WOULD have the effect of suspending the imposition of the, (entire), FIFA decision, pending the outcome of the appeal, and WOULD enable Suarez to continue to play in this WC.
I am aware of FIFA 'flying' the Article 22 thus trying to prer-empt being obliged to enter into sticky legal waters. However, any appeal would include pleadings relating to the relevance and equity implications of Article 22, meaning its imposition or otherwise forms an integral part of the Appeal, and cannot therefore be enforced by FIFA prior to the appeal decision. To open the door to the avaricious Human Rights brigade, by trying to do so, would certainly end all hope of Blatters re-election, when added to Platini's sudden abdication from Blatters suport team
However I think this is entirely academic, since FIFA would have well considered this situation, prior to opting to go down this road.and it is as certain as tomorrows dawn that we will now witness another perfect example, of many, of FIFAs' regular abuse of power, with the Appeal becoming nothing more than a charade by being set up, heard, and dismissed, (BY A FIFA CONTROLLED BODY!), within a period of no more than 36 hours! As a member recently and, correctly in my opinion, the epitome of a Kangaroo Court in action.
Either way, to coin a well used expression, "Suarez is already dead and buried". Because of all of the circumstances, the answer to the question of whether justice has been served, will forever remain subjective, and never objective

Just quoting what they are saying on TV News Mat, where they said he could only appeal the fine and NOT the ban.

My Dear Socksby,
I agree that FIFA have been far to lenient. Perhaps an additional ruling that he should be transferred to Everton for a period of not less than one season, would pacify you? :-"
I suppose it couldn't be, (or could it?) that your overheated, vitriolic hatred of Suarez has anything at all to do with the fact that he is a Liverpool player??? [-X [-X [-X ;) ;) ;)   \:D/ \:D/ \:D/
