Certainly a comprehensive win.

The pundits at the Beeb predict a
India, New Zealand, Australia & South Africa last 4.
If so it will be pretty hard to predict who will win the final...

India should have no trouble though with Bangladesh. India to win

Australia is against one of the most hot and cold teams around, Pakistan will either loose comprehensively or Australia will have one almighty fight on their hands and it could go either way. Aussies to win

The kiwi's have been good and consistently good but that is as good as they get. Get McCallum and good night? West Indies like the Pakis can turn it on but much less often. same as NZ, Get gayle and good night. West indies to win.

I have been back in Bangladesh for a week now and the drive home from work has seen each village with a paddy field full of kids playing cricket with makeshift bats and wickets as opposed to the last time in country where it was soccer in the fields.
They certainly have a passion for the game and the guys , all with their Bangladesh cricket shirts on, from the gas plant have snuck out during the last few hours to watch the game on tele in the clients camp dining area. Huge cheers were heard earlier especially loud when Kholi went cheaply. Deafening actually. Good to see them happy.
I told them all, good luck today, and they thanked me for supporting bangla, sorry guys I would support any one playing India.

They have their work cut out now chasing 303 for victory.

Scorecards seldom tell the full story. That was certainly the case as India eased to a 109-run victory in their World Cup quarter-final against Bangladesh. Rohit Sharma’s magisterial 126-ball 137 and fiery spells from Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami will garner the headlines, but for more than a quarter of the match, Bangladesh were in the ascendancy but unfortunately it didn't pan out and their out.

i think todays game will give a good insight to the aussi chance of taking the cup.they have beaten the paki team in every way for the last few mths but this game the aussi lot are under some pressure, well being human they have to have a fear of losing.

Well if that catch Watson just took to get rid of Sarfraz is any indication of Aussie's determination to win the World Cup, it's going to take a bloody fantastic effort to beat the Aussies in this tournament.

Unfortunately I cannot see the game but follow online commentaries and that seemed to be a very hostile first 13 overs from Australia. All 3 bowlers hitting over 150km at some stage. =D>
One could compare the hostile nature of the aussie bowling akin to some UM posts, but with slightly less speed and sharpness.

A maximum of 19 celsius is forecast in Wellington today for our visitors from the West Indies. That will be a bit uncomfortable for them. It feels like autumn has started this week. My Mrs. is starting to complain that it's cold. 23 forecast for Auckland today.

high of 25 and all sun today in christchurch lovely this is a big game for the black caps only because they would look like a bunch of sillytwats if they lose. the west indies flare with a care free style, make this a must watch game

NZ 213/2 in the 38th over at Wellington. McCullum was out for 12.

Overnight it was a freezing 11 celsius in Christchurch. It's going to be 9 over night there on Monday. Wayne is a brave man.
