motorbike with no reg number can I sell it on?

I bought a nearly new motorbike from an old girl who I assumed liked a gamble which is why I got a good deal,my girlfriend done all the talking and so the old girl promised to sort everything out we done the deal 4 months on still no number plate can I sell this on or is it useless without the numberplate

so no blue ownership book, no bill of sale?? Its likely the bike is hot or the gambling girl who sold it to you ditched the loan company and possibly reported it as stolen...

Just found out today she put it in one of those crazy loan shops and can have the number for the 23rd of May as she has stuck to the payments the great news is I leave for the uk on the 13th

Have blue book just no number

I am on my 5th motorbike here in Thailand.

Unfortunately for you there was no GREEN book with the bike (blue book is for cars).

There are quite a few bikes going around Udon with no number plate as we speak (you all know who you are).

Although it is possible to insure this bike, you will never be able to get a green book and therefore a number plate.

Best bet is to sell it to someone who will use it off road (farm or other).

If stopped by police because you are a farang it will be confiscated by the BIB and then kept in the pen and then eventually sold off.

Bite the bullet and make whatever final payment is needed at the loan sharks, get the plate in your possession, lock up the bike and go to the UK. Sell it when you get back unless you are in a rush.

Friend of mine wanted me to bring her plateless old bike from Udon to Pattaya in the back of my plateless new truck. No chance pal!
