Meanwhile back in Lala Land, Liberals are leaking like sieves, stealing from the members, creating the worse unemployment in 13 years, and they want to import Chinese Workers instead of employing Australians.

Ronan had a bad week last 7 days and has only this to comment on.

Border Farce, NBN blow outs to the Libs plan, and spiralling national debt of $381 Billion , $81 Billion more than when Hockey asked for it to be increased to $300 B

Bring on Canning, lets see if Hockey keeps his position, or will he be the sacrificial halal lamb.

Abbott told Tony Windsor years ago he would do anything to be PM, except sell his Ar*e, and that's on record also.

Ive made a note Ronan, that you might be busy next week, doorknocking in Canning and handing out how to count cards , 1 = 6 etc...

Centrebet has Hastie Hands @ $1.42 AND Keogh at $2.75 , so a shoe in with a 12 % swing .

Don't forget Fairfax wazza - the Jihadis trying to bring down the government. Fairfax might soon be called a death cult. Maybe Andrew Bolt will take the language to the next level in the stratosphere.

I think the Libs would also put the ABC high up on the list. Canning is going to be really really interesting.

I'm not sure if Geelong Grammar posts belong in this thread but it's the equivalent of Eton and is thus nationally important. For British readers, Charlie went there:

I'm pleased my family wasn't paying a truck load of money to send me there. It seems to have been full of sexual perverts who belong in jail.

In a squalid stunt Labor has debased any claims to principle in the Dyson Heydon dispute and will now ask the Governor-General to act improperly, trash the principles of responsible government and violate the conventions of his office…

The recommended “address” Labor proposes from the Senate has no legal standing whatsoever. It will be rejected by the Governor-General, Sir Peter Cosgrove. This is a stunt designed to put the Senate’s imprimatur on the campaign to destroy Heydon and the royal commission.

Opposition legal affairs spokesman Mark Dreyfus said that next Monday when the Senate sits Labor will proceed with “a petition to the Governor-General to remove Dyson Heydon from this office”. On what basis? There is no finding against Heydon. There is no illegality or act of impropriety committed by him. The argument is that Labor and the unions and, perhaps a majority of the Senate, think he is biased…

(W)hat is proposed is an abuse of the Senate’s power and an abuse of the Governor-General’s powers.

How desperate is the Labor Party? ... This decision is a serious blunder. It reveals Labor as a party prepared to play with the idea of vice-regal sabotage merely to extract more publicity in its campaign to protect the unions....

Its behaviour is now obsessive in seeking to protect unions from the documented exposure of criminality and in threatening the Australia-China FTA on behalf of a misleading union campaign on the issue of jobs protectionism.

This is how much of a joke Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot has become. ALP running dead in the Canning by-election in WA to ensure that One Term Tony isn't removed by his loyal cabinet and the coalition party room. Bishop, Morrison and Turnbull are pishing themselves laughing at the rAbbot proof fence that is keeping the liability away from the seat and they just can't wait to sink the knives into the dear leader's back at the earliest opportunity.

Is Labor 'running dead' in Canning to protect Tony Abbott?

Labor has fuelled speculation it is more concerned with ensuring Tony Abbott remains Liberal leader than winning the Canning byelection, mounting what has been reported to federal cabinet as a low profile campaign in the West Australian seat.
Cabinet ministers discussed the byelection when they met on Tuesday, with deputy Liberal leader Julie Bishop telling her colleagues the local campaign being run by Labor was less intense than expected.
It has raised questions on whether the ALP would rather see Mr Abbott remain leader than win Canning in an upset. The byelection was called for September 19 after the death of Liberal MP, Don Randall. Liberals acknowledge losing the seat could end Mr Abbott's leadership.

Their chorus line of confected outrage is meant to distract us from evidence to the royal commission of union thuggery, intimidation, secret deals, secret payments (including an undeclared $40,000 paid to Bill Shorten by construction company Unibuilt when he was a union leader to fund his 2007 political campaign), bogus memberships to boost the power of unions, and deals where employers paid for membership dues.

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion ... 7508282365

The voters in Canning notice that sort of thing.

They will unlikely be distracted by the confected outrage of corrupt union thugs trying to protect themselves from prosecution.

Lying Billy Shorten - the biggest liability labor has - Lying Billy Shorten - the unions man in Canberra.

How many more secret payments did Lying Bill Shorten receive to get elected?

The Royal Commission will eventually reveal this.

How much more will the corrupt CMFEU pay to Lying Bill Shorten in Canberra to protect them and to maintain their corrupt protection racket?

They will pay whatever they have of members hard earned money, because they know the game is up.

But they will still waste the workers money because they like power, rich living, and dont want to go to jail.

Lying Bill Shorten - the only man to stab two sitting Prime Ministers in the back and prepared destroy the country to protect corrupt union thugs.

Well todays National accounts are interesting ,the economy recorded its lowest growth rate in two years of 0.2 per cent in the three months to June.

" Ït was the weakest growth since early 2011, which was affected by the severe floods in Queensland, and the equal second weakest since the Global Financial Crisis-affected contraction in December 2008.
In nominal terms — with the effects of inflation excluded — GDP growth was 1.8 per cent, the weakest figure since 1962

Talking about growth doesn't mean actual growth eh ?? and Bye Bye Hockey, said those who spoke of this were clowns .

"We've had a terrific set of numbers that came out today and those numbers have proven that there are some clowns out there that are talking about recession and dark clouds on the horizon...... Bye Bye Hockey 3/6/15 "

Economic growth has fallen to 2%, unemployment has risen to 6.3% the highest in nearly 13 years, when Abbott was Min for Employment NOO WAY eh

800,000 out of work, but wanting to import Chinese Workers for John Holland and others.

7 months ago a 457 Visa rort with foreign workers , Asians been paid $7 per hour. Australian Jobs lost there to, I presume.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-01-26/4 ... te/6047014,

Lets not bring back Gina's plans to fly in direct to her mines, overseas workers , so they also can be exploited.

Todays polls x 2 showing a wipe out for One Term Tony

Canning will be the litmus test for him and the sharpening of knives as marginal backbenchers seeing their allowances and super slipping away perhaps.

Ah! ......... the MTM (not NBN) blowout. :-k

Before the election, Turnbull proudly and arrogantly announced he has a fully costed plan, ready to go.

2 years later, there has barely been a single MTN connection.

Turnbull lies as easily as Abbott - he is just smoother in his delivery. :?

But just ask Mal and Tony (and ronan) - it's all Labor's fault. :D
