Vitamen C Benefits

Post by bumper » September 20, 2015, 11:56 am

My new neighbor happens to have a company that produces a liquid concentrate. I had really never thought about it much. He gave me some to try so I looked it does seem to have some benefit. Might be worth considering I doubt most of us get what we really need through diets.

Few years ago, there was a world wide consensus that Vit C had little or no value to the majority of the claims.

This was particularly aimed at the Cold, Flu, symptoms.

That is unless you have a Vit C deficency.

the body will only take in what it needs, normal diet with fruit in will have just what you need. overdosing is impossible, but too much does have effects on your bowels... not in a nice way.

Vitamin C is a daily need, I am told it is not stored in the body.....?

I am into fresh juicing and like to squeeze a number of natural things ( and some not natural Double D's :D ) but for now my favourite is Lemons.
I religiously squeeze 1 lemon into a glass every morning upon waking, take the juice and add a half glass of water and swallow.
Do this 20 minutes before eating.
You can use limes aswell.
Great start to the day.
you will get the following without taking supplements

Here’s the nutrition you’ll get from 100 grams of lemon juice
Vitamins Amount / Serving
Vitamin A 20.0IU
Vitamin C 46.0mg
Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol) 0.2mg
Niacin 0.1mg
Vitamin B6 0.1mg
Folate 13.0mcg
Pantothenic Acid 0.1mg
Choline 5.1mg
Minerals
Calcium 7.0mg
Magnesium 6.0mg
Phosphorus 6.0mg
Potassium 124mg
Sodium 1.0mg
Zinc 0.1mg
Selenium 0.1mcg

Quote
"The biggest benefit in my book is the very low sugar levels, per 100 grams it only has 0.2 grams of fructose and 0.2 of glucose which makes this fruit suitable for almost anyone looking for a quick nutritional boost every morning. Plus it has virtually zero calories so you won’t gain any weight."

If you are going to take Vitamin C, you should try liposomal vitamin C. www.liposomal-vitaminc.com

I'm going to give this a chance to work. I know I don't get enough in my daily meals. I know it won't stop colds or flu ;)

I can tell from Spark People that my Vitamin C content is way down. I will use a liquid supplement liposomal vitamin C. It's a high concentrate.

I don't know if I will feel any different I already fill good from all the workouts.

I will keep you posted, there are other things I need to increase as well.

Therefore, vitamin C is especially helpful in healing wounds of all types. From minor cuts to deep wounds, broken bones and burns.

Not used in mainstream medicine protocols for wound care

Can you provide a peer review medical paper that suggests this at all ?
